Protects from front or sides. Fits over cateye eyeglasses. Protects from UV, but not polarized.
These fir over sunglasses actually fit over my old 1960s-style cateye eyeglass frames! They protect the eyes from glare even when the sun comes in from the side. They are not polarized - but do claim protection from UV light. They will fall apart easily if dropped, but my experience is that it is easy to put them back together. I store them in a very large hard case to keep them from getting scratched when not in use. Very similar to the original Solarshield (trademarked) sunglasses, except that they are not polarized.

Superior sunshade for very sensitive eyes
I purchased these glasses after I had cataract surgery. I highly recommend them as they help me a lot all during the healing process their well-made and comfortable to wear.

Easy to use, work well, pricey for such a simple plastic item.
Pros: these work well, fit easily over glasses, and have a lip over the top of the glasses that prevents sun from shining into your eyes over the top.Cons:1-there is a prop 65 warning on small plastic envelope that protects them from scratching in the larger envelope. Nowhere in on the Amazon page is this mentioned.2-the price has jumped dramatically from $11.99 in ‘21 to the $26+ I just paid. I have purchased them a few times between, having lost or broken them. I know things cost more now but this was a big leap. These are like cheap sunglasses you get to protect your eyes, only sunglasses colored.

does a better job than my prescription sunglasses
THis is the second order of these sunglasses I have purchased for myself. I wear prescription glasses, and formerly used prescription sunglasses. I ended up buying these to put OVER my prescription sunglasses because the prescription version did not block enough glare. Now, with my new prescription I wear these OVER my original glasses and they are perfect. THey fit perfectly over my prescription sunglasses, are not too heavy and do an excellent job of reducting sun glare so that I can actually see the traffic light colors and arrows. I keep one pair in my pocketbook and use the other when I am out walking. Love them, comfortable.

Fantastic and cheap
Pros:• Covers eyes from all angles, so complete protection from the sun• Fits over glasses!• Cheap and lightweight plastic so easy to replace• I used them after getting my eyes dilated at an optometrist appt and they were fantastic - greatly reduces light exposure when your eyes are sensitive to lightCons:• Ugliest sunglasses ever. Like, I keep them quarantined in my car because they are the only thing I want to wear in the car, but other than that I don't feel cute in them. Not evaluated:• I don't know if they're scratch resistant. I always keep them in an oversized eye protection case.

Great for Boomers, or a Boomer Want-to be
Very functional sunglasses. They fit my huge gorilla noggin, and evidently very big glasses. More aesthetically pleasing glasses do not fit those, so I got these. If you are modeling for Vogue, these might not be suitable, unless you are trying to hide your face also. Driving with these really make you wish you had darker window tint as you will look like a nursing home escapee, like me. BUT they do shade the sun, so who cares how we look? Not like we're trying to attract pretty girls at the beach.

Not quite
They fit over my glasses and wrap around perfectly however they just aren't strong enough.
