Cheap, good and worth trying!
I've been baking homemade bread for YEARS, and I never even knew this product existed.I baked a loaf of wheat and a loaf of white, and found that I didn't taste much difference with wheat but the flavor I expected was more apparent (if that makes sense?)... no different flavor but more of it?The bigger difference was the white loaf, which I thought gave it a more nutty, flavorful taste than without it.This product is cheap and delicious. If you're making bread often (I make all of my own bread) you won't be disappointed in giving this a shot. It absolutely will not wreck whatever your recipe is.

I bought this to help keep my bread fresher longer, and it works great. It's a little bit expensive but does do the trick.

NOT A sourdough starter as advertised
This IS NOT a sourdough starter. Disappointed when trying to figure out how to use it as it is really just for making a loaf of bread the next day. No fermentation for flavor. Threw it out and wasted $12

It Works and I Like It!
This works well! I used it with my bread baking, and I have no complaints except I make a lot of bread and need a bigger bag. :)

Great addition to your bread recipes
I add a bit of this to all my breads now. I use about half of what they recommend, as the recipe doesn't call for it at all, it's just a little extra to give a softer crumb.It especially makes a difference in wheat bread.Thumbs up!
