Great product
Great thick screen quality, good cut to size fit. I have cats and this complete package has proven to have many uses that's easy to use, and I'm in my late 60s.

Great kit - highly recommend
I had two smaller-sized window screens that needed repair. There are plenty of on-line videos on how to replace a screen. It is a very straight forward DIY project and it took me about 20 minutes per screen. This was my first time and they look like new. I like that this kit include both the roller and new seal material. They are both needed. They say you might be able to re-use your old seal, but seals get brittle with age. Best to use new.The concave roller works great to seat the seal rather than having to press it all in with a flat-blade screwdriver which is tedious. The screen material seems durable and they provide an ample quantity of screen and seal. I have a lot left over. One tip: after pressing the seal in, trim the excess screen material with the utility knife pointed towards the inner frame edge (away from the screen). Don't trim with the blade pointed towards the screen where you could damage it.

Quality product and great price!
Great value! YouTube videos definitely helped before installation regarding use of the roller to avoid cutting new screen and tips on laying the screen out for installation. My only complaint was the spline. I learned later that it needed to be split apart. Initially it didn’t appear they included enough to even complete the screen door. So I made an unnecessary trip to Lowe’s and purchased spline (that wasn’t as good quality as what was included) only to learn after the fact that the odd shaped spline included actually needed to be torn apart. Wish a small paper in the spline has been included to say that. :(. I’ve never replaced a screen before, especially this large but I’m sooooo pleased! Looks very professional. Took me about an hour to install.

Easier Than I Thought.
After a recent storm that took out some screens I was going to have a screen company come out and replace all the screens on my home, but I decided to try this method first and see how I did. I was a little intimidated, but it was a lot easier than I thought it saved me a lot of money by paying a company to come out and redo all my screens after a recent storm. The end product turned out great! Hopefully these will last a couple years. Quality seemed great out of the box. Let’s hope they hold up.Tip: I ended up needing a lot of this to do 30 or so windows, and I probably could’ve measured better, but I ended up with a lot of waste or weird screen sized scraps. Only con is how long it takes to do so many screens, but the product is great so far.

Good quality screen and spline, heavy-duty tool
Nice quality - especially the tool... hard to imagine being able to do a quality job without a specialized tool like this - made it very easy, very clean... and this is a heavy-duty tool that will hold up for big jobs for a long time, not a cheap plastic, flimsy, one-time use tool for tucking the spline. Only thing missing from this kit is a good razor knife to clean up the excess.

Easy 30min DIY project with 2 people !
Unlike the photo in the product page, the mesh did not come rolled up. Instead, it was folded (as you can see in my photo). Installation took a little under 30mins, but it did take 2 person at one point. The product arrived with the mesh, a 2-sided roller tool, and a long piece of rubber gasket in a zip lock bag.Once the old mesh was removed, we placed the sheet of mesh over the frame of the sliding door (see photo). Using the provided roller, I rolled down the long end and then the short end with no issues. Make sure you use the side that has a concave shape rather than the sharp end that looks like a pizza roller. Using the wrong end will rip up the mesh!! Then I had a helper gently pull the mesh as I completed the other 2 sides carefully. Finally, I used a fat screw driver to push down the mesh even deeper around the sides to make sure it does not come out. To remove the excess mesh around the frame, I used a razor to cut it off instead of the roller tool. I held the razor parallel to the side of the door and moved it around the edge. That was pretty much it. The entire process was actually much simpler than I thought it would be. Now our screen door looks new again with no holes, tears/rips!!Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to repair their screen door mesh. 5 stars!!!!!

Fragile material- be careful
Product is easy to install, but note, this isn't my first time installing screens. I've done plenty in my days. The main reason I bought this as a kit was to get the tool. Be careful, there are two different heads on the tool, one to cut, one to guide the spline into the groove.Biggest problem was the extremely fragile screen material. While guiding the spline into the groove with the tool, the material that was pintched between the tool and the edge of the groove was easily sliced. This is with hardly any pressure applied as I typically place the spline, then go back with my homemade tool made just for pushing the spline all the way in without rush of ripping the material.I am now purchasing new material (on a roll). This material comes folded in about a 12" x 12" bag.Recommendation: be extremely gentle if you use this material. I can only imagine its longevity in full sun or harsher climates. Might be better off buying upgraded material and the tool, spline separately.
