Cools overheating laptop drastically!
Amazing product! I use a work laptop all the time and I am running a lot of files at a time, causing my laptop to get very hot. I purchased this to help with the heating issues and it has been great! It drastically lowers the temperature and allows me to have a lot of files pulled up without causing the laptop to overheat.

Your neck and back will thank you
If you have a laptop... just buy this now. Your back/neck will thank you. Dropping a laptop on a desk works but your neck won't like you. Get this, sit in your chair and adjust the height of your laptop to a comfortable level. This device is far cheaper than going to a chiropractor

real freakin good
absolute godsend.quality material from my basic knowledge of things. while my MacBook Pro can handle most things, have the ability to cool it down for intense use has been phenomenal. It is on the heavy side and if you have to move it, be careful of the cooling fan because it pops ou too its socket... that part of the design kinda sucks? I wish there was a way to keep it locked in place. so whether you're changing the orientation or the height, be careful of it.it has three options, off, quiet, and loud. if you want it to cool your laptop, be prepared for the noise level but it's worth it.the usb port is slightly annoying, but I already had a 45 degree usb c plug. But for what it's been doing, this has been more than worth it.

It's good but a little small for a large gaming laptop.
Works as advertised. Better than a lot of other similar laptop stands intended to provide additional cooling and/or airflow under a laptop that otherwise gets too hot.Advantages:1. Keeps the laptop cool and has plenty of space underneath for air flow when extended.2. Adjustable.3. I like the steel plate on the bottom.Problems:1. A bit too small for a 16" laptop; the steel plate could use some kind of fold out extension arm to keep it from tipping backwards when used on a softer surface such as a bed.2. The hinges hold position by friction, and a heavier laptop will easily collapse them. I had to jam an empty soda can between the laptop and the base plate, with the cooling module holding it in place, in order to keep it from collapsing.3. In the fully collapsed position, the cooling module is awkward and is dislodged from the rack it mounts on. There doesn't seem to be anything securing it to the rack other than spring loaded pegs and gravity. Some kind of latch for the cooling module or for the hinges would help.4. The cooling module can be a little high on power consumption, and can occasionally overcurrent a USB port if you plug it straight in to the laptop.

Very well made
Great design. A bit awkward to handle but once you get how to get the perfect position, super easy to use. Cooling works ok, if left not touching the laptop it generates condensation water so be careful, you might put water into you laptop. Noise level in low power makes no sound, high power soft but not intrusive wont bother anyone. So does it work yes but it could be better still giving it 5 stars because it is very well made.

This is the best cooler I've experienced.
This cooler is outstanding. It cools like no other cooler i've tried. It literally produces condensation due to the low temperature it reaches.Performance of this cooler is primarily based on the power supply, use an external USB power brick instead of relying on the USB port from the laptop

Makes laptop *hotter*!
The unboxing videos were nice, but they ignore the key issue: does it cool your laptop? I did an experiment, running my laptop for at least 5 minutes in each case, and waiting a few minutes between each treatment to allow it to stabilize:Idle: 48.0 deg CWorking (4 cores at 100%), no external cooling: 64.8 deg CWorking (4 cores at 100%), $15 laptop fan: 67.2 deg CWorking (4 cores at 100%), "METFUT" cooling stand: 77.6 deg C(I converted the temperatures to deg F in the image.)It sucks! It's actually *worse* than using nothing at all! My guess is because the device's fans are blocking the laptop's intakes. These fans are supposed to spin at 2400 rpm, which sounds like a lot, but I could barely feel them. In fact, I had to hold them up to my face to feel anything. Supposedly, the cooling comes from the thermoelectric device, which indeed becomes immediately cool. But to work, it either needs to be in contact with the hot parts, or it needs to cool air before it's blown in. The fans, as I said, are impotent. Contact with the laptop bottom doesn't work because the laptop is built with plastic, which has horrible thermal conductivity. So it's a neat parlor trick, but you could get two fan-only devices for the price of this and at least believe something is happening. I was using the plug-in mode (not the less powerful USB mode), so it was getting maximum power. For all of you making review videos, please evaluate products for the problem they are supposed solve. Anything else is a gimmick.
