The paint finish on them is great, will probably never rust. They are solid 100% steel. The welding on them is really well done.

Current price point at the time/date of this review: $116.99 with a 8% discount being provided by the seller. Pricing is generally fair and comes in a more workable size compared to a similar and nearly identical unit to this with the only difference being in the dimensional length. As stated, I own a near identical unit to this one but sized differently - otherwise they are essentially the same. Works decent and seems to hold fine. I do worry about it knocking off with a sizeable hit or with the formation of rust/corrosion which can weaken points seeing as it’s constantly exposed to the elements given the application. Offers adjustable pre-drilled holes to work with. Not bad. ADDITIONAL NOTES Fairly sturdy and generally well joined together with a reasonable thickness and dimension, although I would’ve expected it to come in a slightly thicker and heavier duty industrial build given the application and with continued exposure to the elements. While it’ll hold fine and generally lives up to the task I think having an added layer of thicker reinforcements would be optimal in helping you feel more assured it can withstand all the exposure and constant use. heavier duty would’ve been butter but generally speaking it should work as the brackets are reinforced with a nice a decent angle support to help keep it all in place. Not bad overall but I would’ve expected a little more and for a little less. Overall I would peg it at a medium/heavy duty design/build. Comes with pre-drilled holes for flexible mounting points.

I made my own mounts for a smaller box, and needed something for a big (36-38”) box. Its a single rear wheel, so space is kinda limited, and these are the smallest ones i found. These are pretty heavy duty, made from heavy gauge steel. These come with all necessary hardware and even an open end wrench, although i don’t use these disposable tools. The brackets have a good amount of holes on each axis for many mounting options. Unfortunately, these still a tiny bit too long, and may have to be shortened. Also, my truck frame is a C channel, not a U channel, so I can’t use conventional mounts to attach it to the frame, and will most likely have to drill the frame, which i was really trying to avoid. But besides all those issues, these are great underbody box mounts
