Order arrived within 48 hrs of ordering as per time slot notified previous day with a notification of 30 minutes before delivery. A two men team delivered the large heavy package to a convenient position to allow unpacking of contents. Some small holes in the cardboard were noted. On unpacking of components, loose papers comprising a personally addressed letter from Unicorn Global Resources LTD Thanking for purchase. Three stapled together A4 sheets of 24 in number coloured pictorial only instruction aids, with no written text. A lose smaller piece of paper with a QR code were found. This code provided a U Tube video aid to assembly via a smart phone. This was confusing as the video although showing all fittings and components in suggested order of assembly did not match entirely with the component I had unpacked. Another set of similar A4 papers stapled together as the first was found loose in the packing. This one had another QR code on the A4 paper adjacent to the coloured photos. This produces another video that matched exactly to the components I had unpacked. This was possibly due to minor modifications made to the sofa/bed. Construction singlehanded was straight forward and completed in approximately one hour. I am very happy with the quality and how easy the transfer from settee to sofa bed and visa versa is. It is very strong and represent good value for money. It is comfortable to sit on of a good size. Its comfort to sleep on is yet to be assessed but I am confident that as an occasional requirement it should be a very satisfactory useful addition. I would suggest that as I experienced some problems with order of bed clothing with this order. ( not supplied by the same company who supply the sofa/bed). Obtain those articles separately. The Sales managers of Unicorn Global Resources Ltd are extremely helpful. I am extremely happy with the purchase.

The sofa/bed is good quality in general, and of good value if you want to get a sofa that can be used as a bed now and then (I would not recommend it the other way around). Technical point of view: The instructions are simple enough, but assembling the sofa requires two people to put it all together easily (I imagine one person could do it, but it would not be easy). The mattress is between a double and a queen in length (143 cm) but shorter than a regular mattress (180 cm). Also, the mattress is quite thin but firm (not too soft), so it is comfortable; you don’t feel the structures below it. The materials are solid and firm enough to work as a proper guest bed. When converted into a bed, it is significantly lower than a regular bed (35 cm), which I don’t see as a big problem, but keep it in mind. The extra space below the matres is a proper “chest” of 15x105 cm. Easy to access it while it is used as a bed, but not as easy when it is used as a sofa. Usability: The bed is comfortable. I had some visits for a few days, and they were quite happy with the quality of the bed. It is easy to convert from sofa to bed and vice versa but requires certain strength. To turn it into a sofa, you must lift the centre of the bed while pushing. It is a good sofa when used as such. General comments: It is more expensive than other options, but it works very well as a sofa and a bed, which is not true for other cheaper options. So, I would recommend this item. It is a nice and comfortable piece of furniture that is not bulky.

Easy to assemble. Looks very stylish. Nice shade of grey. Very sturdy and cushions very thick and comfortable. Great functionality used every night. Easy to pull out and night and slide away in the morning. Value for money. Great useful item for any home.

Sofa bed came in easy to assemble parts. Will say it was part-assembled, had to put the armrests, the chassis support and backrest together. The mattress is extra firm as it is 10cm, hence, it makes it more comfortable and easy to use in bed position compared to the sofa position. I guess it only reclines forward a bit in sofa position due to the thickness of the mattress. The sofa bed is also very sturdy as it weighs about 42-45kg. And the wide storage will free my space alot of other things i kept around so i can keep them in the storage. it's a value for the price i must say

Not sure where to start with this one so I'll start at the end with the finished assembly. It does look nice in situ although not as good as the marketing pics or videos first appear. You'll see from our pics that, when in sofa position, the foam seat overhangs the base assembly. On the marketing pic this appears flush, so not the same!! Not as comfortable as we'd like. Might be ok for some but we believe the foam seat/mattress is way harder than it ought to be. Not sure if this is by design or the foam in our product has age hardened. Hard to tell how long it has been in storage for, but inside the sealed cardboard box the unit was covered in warehouse dust!! Tip: Use of a 50mm or 70mm memory foam topper makes this quite a comfortable mattress. It's generally a neat idea, and overall we are happy with the quick and simple conversion from sofa to bed and back again, and the unit looks good in both setups. Sadly, underneath all that is evidence of poor finishing and cheap manufacturing. Unnecessary splintering of wooden slats from over zealous cutting or oversized saw teeth! Screws not fitted straight or broken or missing entirely! Scratches on the underside of the woodwork, although has little effect on the assembled unit. Dents and scratches on the tubular metal frames (luckily the worst was on the bottom, so not visible). Mis-aligned feet!! If we had paid half the actual price we might have expected this, but not at the price we paid for this unit. And perhaps the oddest thing we encountered was the protective wrapping on the tubular metal sides which had been fitted prior to assembly of the side upholstered panels. This meant you couldn't actually get the stuff off without dismantling the panels first!! Not a big deal but it did seem rather odd.
