Peripera Ink the Velvet Lip Tint - High Pigment Color, Longwear, Weightless, Not Animal Tested, Gluten-Free, Paraben-Free (018 STAR PLUM PINK)

This lip tint is soft, durable, and blends in well with your natural lip color. If any product had to prove a point with the whole “a little bit goes a long way” it would be this one. You can literally pick how much pigment you want in your lips, I prefer a very natural shade which I get by only doing 2-3 dabs and then blending them in. This is like a incredibly small fraction from the tube. Which speaking of is a very easy to carry around tube, I personally think it’s cute but it’s also very light so if you like to carry light, this should be your go to. It also lasts several hours, as long as you don’t put a lot of greasy stuff in your lips like constant lip balm, you should be fine. Honestly I would say it can last the whole day if you’re not eating like crazy or kissing people lol. This isn’t to say that you can’t use lip balm because most of us use it, I think just using it when needed rather than constantly is key, don’t lick your lips either people. It does taste sweet though. Overall this lip tint is super versatile. If you’re looking for a bold look, you can do full swipes and get a beautiful bold look. If you’re want a more blushed natural look, a few dabs will get you there. It’s perfect for everyday use since it lasts so long and is easy to carry around.

Lovely color- definitely a MLBB! Easy to apply, dries down quickly and nondrying finish. The only issue is it’s not transfer proof- came off when I drank and ate. The stain that was left was a pretty nude neutral color that faded softly after 4-6 hours of wear. Made lips feel super soft and silky. Would definitely buy again and excited to get other colors.

Brick red color. Goes on opaque and beautiful. But, it is more of an opaque lip gloss that leaves a slight stain instead of an actual lip tint. The top layer of creamy product comes off easily onto cups, leaving a lipstick print which is annoying to wash off. Then any moisture around your mouth will wipe the product right off of your lips, so it doesn’t last after eating or drinking. Idk about you but I’m always trying to drink something during the day so this is not a great product for me. Once the creamy layer is off your lips it leaves a weird orange ghost tint. I bought the brick red color and the creamy product is true to color but the stain after is a terrible Color for me and looks like I just ate tomato sauce or something. It’s just a sheer orangey tint. The residual tint doesn’t smudge but it doesn’t look intentional or cute at all. Pretty disappointing. If you want a thick colored gloss go for it. But this is NOT a longasting tint.

Amazing! One of the only lip products that actually stays on my lips without feeling crusty or dry. It won't smudge as long and you apply and blot away any excess. The color is accurate to the pictures and the product applies unbelievably soft. I only need to reapply maybe once or twice depending on what I'm doing throughout the day.

I love this lip tint,I mixed it up with a red liner and the blend is insane😍🙌🏾..the shine and perfect for my purse .Its hydrating and lasts me all night when I got to events. Definitely grab this and play around with mixing it up .

LOVE the color! Easy application, very velvety and felt hydrating. I also really liked the applicator. Decent amount of product for price. A lil bummed because I thought this wouldn't transfer after application, however despite it appearing matte and feeling matte it's not.

I love lipstick but this in NOT a good formula. I am unsure if I got an old or bad item, but I will not purchase any of the tints again. I got shade 08 - Pretty Orange Pink, which seemed like it was going to be a dark coral lip tint or stain based on the stock photo. I liked the idea of wearing it full on or blurred, however it did not look as shown once applied at all. For reference, I am medium neutral olive & my lips are naturally a dark mauve, so I knew the lip color would not look exactly as pictured since the model is extremely fair skin. I am mid 40s without lip injections which I understand it may look different on others without lines on their lips. (There is nothing wrong with anyone’s lips, however you like them to be. ) The much lighter than shown color of the lippie does not really bothered me, as I can always make lighter colors work as an ombre with a darker lip liner. The formula is awful & patchy. It’s not drying, or sticky, but even after multiple layers it doesn’t increase much pigment or correct the patchiness. The color barely shows up but adheres to the dry parts of the lips & in the lip lines. Additionally it is not long lasting compared to normal tints or stains & will require reapplication. What I ended up doing was blurring it out then added a lip gloss over it to correct the patchiness & make the coral like a wash of color. It looked ok, but barely noticeable, like a my lips but oh so slightly coral. Not worth it for me. This may be better suited for someone with less lip pigmentation & super smooth lips, but based on my experience, I don’t recommend this color or formula for medium to deep skin tones or for those with are natural older lips. I am disappointed since I have a lipstick in the OG velvet formula from this brand & it’s so nice. I will stick with the velvets… maybe you should, too!
