The glue sticks are fantastic. I needed the longer fatter sticks because I just went through the little ones too fast. I'm using them for sealing shipping boxes. This box of glue sticks was a terrific price for the amount and my order was shipped fairly quickly from the seller.I've heard other buyers complain that this glue is very *stringy*,.... well, that's what hot glue does *and even more so* if you don't know how to work with it properly. LOL. There's a few tricks to handling hot glue guns with heavy glue application.I have NO PROBLEM using these and am very happy with them.Application speaking - the glue seems to dry nice and clear unless I need to mess with it while it's drying - then it becomes sort of milky looking. But that's really OK though, because I'm not looking to decorate with it. LOLYes, I would certainly recommend these glue sticks from this buyer.

I started crafting about 8 months ago and have been buying all of my glue sticks at our local Hobby Lobby but I go through a ton of glue sticks so when I saw that I could get this box of large sticks I decided to try. I'll be honest... I was hesistant to try them because I was afraid the glue wouldNot hold very good but it has actually been just as good quality (if not better) than the other glue sticks that I have purchased. I have tested these out on both high and low settings and it works great either way. It does seem like it takes a few seconds longer for these to dry than the ones I've used in the past but its not a problem to me. The quality of these glue sticks is very good. And I am very pleased!

Huge Box, exact weight, great length and great color...not yellowish. There are things that can be done with hot glue that I didn't realize...I'll be doing a lot more projects now that I have these babies. I'm making my Ice Queen crown for Halloween with hot glue and did you know if you put glue sticks in the freezer before you use them it gets less stingy..wow! Anyway... This was a great purchase..I may not run out out tooo soon but before I do....I will definitely buy more...maybe even the next larger size :-) Hope you LOVE them as much as I do!! Enjoy! :-)

The package I received, the stick dried up "clear" as in if dropped like a tear onto a flat surface, without being disturbed, it will dry clear. If you stir it around and things, it will dry then the color of the stick. It's definitely not yellow. If it's yellowing, then it's because it's getting burned or something. The box was packed the rim, and it was boxes so a pack of 100 was in a plastic bag, and then 20 more thrown in. Used it to fix up an old cat scratching post and worked fine.

There is allot of glue sticks in this package - if you have a huge project or do lots of craft work - this is the box for you or if you have a friend - split a box - that is what we did and now the whole family has plenty of hot glue sticks for all their craft projects. This brand seems to work better in our glue guns - we get a better bond with this brand. We would highly recommend these glue sticks - and the box is easy to store. So I have not used these yet, nor will I ever as they are a gift for my sister. A couple years ago I got her a hot glue gun and several packs of glue sticks. She just said to me the other day it was nice to not have to buy any but now she will because she's running out. I figured what a great gift...6 lbs of sticks so she never has to buy another one again! Upon arrival, I know how much 6 lbs is but I was still shocked to be holding that heavy of a box of glue sticks. They seem to be good quality and I cannot wait for her expression when she opens the box!

My wife uses these sticks for her crafts projects and I use them for everything else. I love to say: "Will hot glue work?", now that I have what feels like a lifetime supply of these. It's a little weird and satisfying to buy such a large bulk of glue. You're getting a good price on something that will never go bad and has a TON of practicality. My new favorite use is to mock up wood before the wood glue and nails come out to play. It's fast and fun to just mock up stuff on the fly and I never feel wasteful at this price.

I remember back in the day (yes I feel old writing that) when any old glue stick would do the job, but now it seems like none of them stick for crap (except for this brand of course). I’m sure there are other good Very High Temp / Specialty glue sticks out there, but for a standard all purpose clear glue stick these are the best I have been able to find.
