What tasty authentic imported provolone cheese
Cheese arrived quickly in well protected small Styrofoam cooler. Could not wait to slice a chunk. Have not had real imported provolone in 40 years! Grew up with corner Italian deli. Friday night dinner was large loaf fresh Italian bread, imported provolone, imported Greek Olives & Genoa Salami. This cheese is semi-hard as expected for imported Provolone. Has the perfectly aged bite as anticipated. My non Italian wife enjoyed her chunk for taste test. Expensive but worth the cost! They take such good care to deliver a high quality cheese in the best shipping container I have seen in a long time. Will make this large chunk last as long as I can but doubt it will be that long! Will re-order when I am down to the near end of cheese. Nice that they also trim off the outer rind. Received 100% edible product with zero waste. I am an extremely pleased Italian who knows when it is the real deal. This cheese is appreciated and a keeper!

Great seller, great product
I do not ordinarily give 1 or 5 stars, but Frank and Sal's cheeses earn 5 stars. I love their sharp provolone and hard cheeses and see no reason to buy from anywhere else. I can count on fast delivery w/safe packaging, and choose their cheeses for cooking far more often than I do sharp cheddar because they add such wonderful flavor. I use the sharp provolone in place of mozzarelle and find reasons to use the sharp romano anywhere I can think of. Superiore!

Brings back Memories
I live in Arizona and there's no good provolone cheese anywhere to be found for a hundred miles. I'm also an Italian and raised that way. My grandparents use to make me a cheese sandwich from home made bread and real aged provolone cheese that they would buy in the ball and hang them up in the rafters in the garage to age longer. This reminds me of that time. The provolone cheese you buy in packages in grocery stores don't come close to the flavor of good provolone cheese. Frank & Sal seems to be a piece of the old Italy and have great cheeses and meats.

delicious, came with sticker different from what's shown, it's so good i don't even care
While i'm not sure of it's origins really, the sticker looks like they sent the wrong brand of provolone.Or maybe they just changed the sticker ( odd bc it's another brand )..Either way, it certainly bites back ; delicious ;

Love this cheese
I was unable to find imported provolone cheese on a regular basis in the stores near me. So, I tried ordering from Amazon and specifically, Frank and Sal. Hoping for the best, I was totally pleased with the speed of delivery, the condition of the cheese when it arrived (shipped from NY to CA) and most of all, the flavor and texture of the cheese. This is what I was looking for and will definitely reorder!
