I'm a bathroom contractor and have built several steam showers for clients, this was for my bathroom and I figured if I didn't like the unit I could replace it later. I ordered the 9k model which requires a 50 amp power supply. It came with the sensor, steam outlet cover and control unit which has to be located outside the shower. Build quality was excellent, instructions were concise and the install was pretty straightforward. I located the generator inside my shower bench, though it can be installed in an adjacent room or attic. I did have a problem with the sensor, there customer service was very responsive and sent me a replacement control unit and sensor. I've been using it for 6 months and have had no probledms, it produces steam in about 2 minutes and takes 10 - 20 minutes to really heat the shower. Would definitly reccomend if you want a less expensive alternative to a Mr Steam or Kohler system,

The Product Description says 1 year warranty but they don't have a phone support, you have to exchange emails back and forward. Even after we. Respond all the questions they are keeping sending email. My unit did not power on when was installed.

I bought this unit 2 years ago and finally installed it last week. The unit has exceeded expectations. I have a 200+ cubic foot porcelain tiled steam shower and was worried the 6kw unit was going to be too small. Let me tell you, it performs like a champ. I set my temp at 100° and the timer to 40 mins. Takes about 10 mins before the steam starts pumping out and it doesn't stop till it hits your set temperature. After that it will shut off and come back on once your chamber drops 5°. Easy to install, easy to operate, love the "auto drain" feature.

Update: I have had a few issues with this steamer, but the company has been really great about sending repair parts to make it right! Finally got around to installing this in my shower. It heats up within five minutes and starts generating steam. Installation was straightforward. The only downside is that the controller has a weird haze behind it, making it difficult to see the temp and time. I think this is a manufacturing defect.

UPDATE: the seller did indeed reach out after this review and replaced my unit! I was even able to upgrade the size for a small difference in list price. Not real happy it had to be replaced in the first place but the sellers customer service pulled through and turned a 1-star experience into an optimistic 4-star. Original: User manual warranty is 1 year. Unfortunately, it turned out to be junk. We bought in Nov 22 and as of Sep 23, the unit has not just stopped working but also occasionally smokes and smells like something is burning! Sediment from somewhere down in the unit is now being expelled through the outlet. (No we are not on a well, no it is not sediment in my water). Huge disappointment. Not only will Amazon not replace or refund the item, but Cgoldenwall has ZERO customer service to contact to honor the 1 year warranty. Unit was installed by licensed plumbers and electricians and still ended up being a dud. I’ll continue to leave 1 star reviews until this is resolved

It doesn't work anymore. I used it a few times and then it leaked and got some water damage. It was nice while it worked. I spent good money on this. I only had it for two months. Disappointed but I need to be reimbursed this messed up my work and income.

Product came quickly and had all parts. Installation was simple and directions were easy. Steam production is really good and the unit is performing well.
