Pepper loves watching me prepare this, and gobbles it right down! I'm adding to kibble now to make it last. I'm on my third box! Great ingredients, and would be good backpacking food for doggies as well!

It’s easy to make up, I dole it as a topping to other foods. Both my Goldens love these products. The ingredients look full and healthy. My dog trainer says this is quality stuff. I’ll order another box next week. They are expensive but really go far. Just add water and stir. Then the next day you’ll add a bit more water.

Our dog loves the Honest Kitchen dehydrated foods and seems to be thriving on them. I buy this one and the plain beef and the turkey and rotate them. I also use some of the HK toppers, to give her variety, along with a few fresh veggies and greens. Her last blood work was impressive on this regime. Based on several years of this HK Beef with Salmon and the other two HK dehydrates I highly recommend these products. It is easy to measure out a certain amount into a bowl and add water. I then wait about 6 or so minutes for it to hydrate, stir in the topper and or grated carrots, some torn up greens, a bit of egg, etc. Easy!!

My dog is the pickiest eater I have ever known. Some days he gobbles it down and others he won't touch it. I usually mix it with raw ground beef or chicken that is a real hit with him if served alone but have yet to find anything but raw meat that he will consistently greet with enthusiasm. I like the concept so continue the hit or miss enthusiasm. Interested in the reaction of your pet.

We prepare for my very loved & spoiled Malinois the dehydrated food in advance, but hydrating a day ahead. We scoop it into a two cup measure scoop (microwaveable) … I then layer the prepared food on the bottom and crumbled 4.5-oz of steamed pork (made days in advance) , then another layer of dog food and then more crumbled pork on top. **** the extra pork is added protein for her age of 10-years. Then I heat it up in the microwave for 2-minutes. When the two minutes are done, I’ll splash some cold bone broth on top and stir to cool down. Then dump on a plate, yes she is a plate eater. She won’t eat out of a bowl.
