Great puzzle
As always, these are well made, sturdy, and reasonably challenging puzzles. This one went together fairly quickly. (Note: We are a hide-the-box family, with no reference to the picture allowed once we dump the pieces on the table.) All the pieces fit exactly, meaning there's almost never doubt as to whether two pieces go together or not. And because the picture itself is reasonably straightforward, it's not super difficult. In fact, if you've never tried a no-peeking puzzle, I'd recommend this as a good starting point. There were few frustrating moments, and we had only a few sections of "wonder where this chunk belongs, or which direction it faces."

Dreamy
A rich, lushly painted palette by artist by Jean-Jacques Sempe sets a New York state of mind for the cover of "The New Yorker" magazine from November 1997. This image will appeal to many audiences: New York dreamers, cat lovers, Sempe fans, cityscape enthusiasts, and New York Puzzle Company aficionados. The intimate space of the bedroom, rendered in dark, muted colors, frames a bed laid with a white quilt bathed in sunlight from a large picture window upon which a calico cat enjoys a serene slumber. Meanwhile, the city that never sleeps is painted in a riot of blue, green, orange and red colors with every window depicting New Yorkers toiling away in their high-rise offices. The cat’s owners are presumably part of the rat race taking place beyond the room’s quiet borders as evidenced by the two coffee mugs at bedside and scattered newspapers.Repurposing "The New Yorker" covers as puzzles is a brilliant combination of art and puzzling. You’re not just building a puzzle; you’re building a story. These puzzles are both a visual joy and a thoughtful puzzling experience. It’s a stunning image when assembled to its 1½ x 2-foot size.

Very nice medium difficulty
Bought this as medium difficulty puzzle to work on with people less adept than myself during a family vaction. The pieces are easy to sort into regions because of the simple and very clear color scheme. It work perfectly for that purpose. The NYer cover with the cute kitty was a big hit too.

Great puzzle
finished the puzzle and one piece was missing so we were really disappointed. Found the piece caught in the hem of my blouse as we were getting ready for bed! We finished 2 New Yorker puzzles over Father's Day weekend. They are fun to do

Good puzzle. Terrible shipping
Nice artwork. Medium quality. The “Free Prime Shipping” was free but not very “Prime”. It took 10 days to arrive with no notification other than “order received” until the final day of “possible arrival dates”. Also a bit pricey. Almost cancelled but I wanted to see just how far Amazon and New York Puzzles would take this example of poorly keeping their customer informed.
