Mine was delivered later than expected but still came before Christmas when I needed it so that’s ok. The knife came extremely sharp! It trimmed up my brisket like a knife through butter, the design is cool, it feels pretty durable and good quality. I’m completely satisfied with how it carved up my first ever brisket.

I recently purchased the SYOKAMI Boning Knife for Meat Cutting, and I am beyond impressed with its performance! This 6.7-inch fillet knife is a game-changer in the kitchen. The high-carbon stainless steel blade is razor-sharp, honed to a perfect 13-15 degree edge, making deboning pork shoulders and filleting fish an absolute breeze. The 20° flexibility of the curved blade offers incredible control, allowing me to glide along bones effortlessly for clean, precise cuts. The ergonomic wenge wood handle with triple silver rivets feels fantastic in hand, providing a secure, non-slip grip even when wet, thanks to the unique gear teeth design. I also appreciate the 0.43-inch blade suspension, which keeps the blade off the counter, ensuring hygiene and reducing cleanup. The Damascus pattern adds a stunning aesthetic, making it not only a practical tool but also a beautiful addition to my kitchen. This knife is forged with outstanding craftsmanship, and the balance between flexibility and durability is spot-on. It arrived in exquisite gift packaging, which makes it an ideal housewarming or holiday gift for any cooking enthusiast. I’ve used it for everything from trimming lamb chops to skinning fish, and it performs flawlessly every time. Highly recommend this SYOKAMI boning knife to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality tool for meat prep.

Nice knife for the price. Blade is ultra sharp, thin and flexible. Be careful because the top edges are sharp as well. Should have been eased. I cut my finger.

When opening the box the first reaction is one of Beauty and function..the simple flowing lines of the knife perfectly compliment each other. However, when picking up the knife and handling it, it immediately becomes obvious that looks are only skin deep...the blade itself is beautifully made...no imperfections in the steel..and although the Damascus pattern is only laser etched it still adds a pleasing look to the blade...However the handle itself is another story...the fitting of the handle scales to the tang is horrible...the sharp edge of the tang extends out both on top and bottom of the handle...there are noticeable dips and grooves in the handle material itself as a result of careless sanding..and there is what appears to be woodworm damage to the material of the scale itself...overall I'd say that the knife is massively overpriced for the quality it actually is..and it all comes down to the handle...if the handle had been properly done it would be well worth the price...unfortunately the one part of the knife degrades the entire product...I will be sending it back for a refund....do not purchase unless the company steps up on their quality control significantly Update: was contacted by the company who makes the knife....apologies were made ..and compensation was arranged in the form of a replacement knife....very good customer service...
