Makes "Clunking" Noise
First the pros: The cord that you plug into your device can be moved from the back to the side of the cassette body allowing for the device to be used in front or side loading cassette players. The sound that comes out of the speaks is very good, i.e., there is very little loss of quality during the conversion process (digital to analog). The cons: there is a discernible "clunking" noise that comes out of the cassette player which is distracting and unless you are listening to your music really loud, will probably drive you nuts - it does me.

Give it a few days and the audio will clear up perfectly!
I read some not so great reviews of this product so I thought I would share a positive experience. The first few days of using this tape deck aux input gave me some static feedback, especially on base notes. After a little use however, things cleared up perfectly and everything comes through my truck speakers without distortion. I'm very happy with this product and it was much cheaper than installing a modern head unit with an aux input or bluetooth. I recommend this deck to anyone.

sounds like carp
You might be thinking I misspelled my headline. You can take it either way. This dang thing sounds like a large carp thrashing around on the top of a lake when its playing. It's loud, noisy, and sure to get your attention if you're not completely oblivious. There's also some hissing on the line, even when its not yet turned up or plugged in. Not a fan.

Sound quality largely depends on your phone/device
I thought I had bought a piece of garbage with poor sound quality, but shortly after I bought this I had gotten myself a new phone (upgraded from an Alcatel 7 to a Samsung Note 9, big upgrade) and noticed a striking difference. With my Alcatel 7 everything sounded unbearably fuzzy. With my Note 9, the quality sounded comparable to my CD player.I should mention that so long as I have my phone plugged in, I turn the headphone volume to max. I notice that if the phone's volume is lower, and I'm only turning up the car's volume, there'll be a little bit of white noise in the background. This is otherwise a much cheaper alternative that buying a new sound system like I was previously considering. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great Quality and price for a retro item
I've read some of the recent reviews of this cable, stating that it's poorly made. Speaking from my own experience, and having used it every day for the past month, I've found just the opposite.I've been using it on a daily basis '02 Camaro SS. It's been subject to extreme conditions, as I've removed it from one device, and put it in the other several times a week. There have been no issues whatsoever, and absolutely no signs that any portion of it may be coming apart. The sound quality from my iPhone 6plus is great , and has never wavered. It fits into the 3.5mm aux ports perfectly, and exactly the same as the day I purchased it.I was happy to also see that they offer a 1 year warranty on this adapter, it's good to know they stand behind their products. As for this adapter, the bottom line is that it works perfectly, and continues to do so despite my subjecting it to almost daily abuse.

Super Cheap , Would not buy again
Poorly made. The cover over the wire terminal connection separated the very 1st time I unplugged it from my cell phone. Because it's just a rubbery plastic boot with no threads to secure it properly. I'm going to try and super glue it together. The cord is not very long either. It won't even reach to the back seat of my car.

A straight line plug made this easy to use
My new phone has a thicker case than the old phone. The adapter that I had been using had a right angle connector that was so short it wouldn't plug into the phone. This adapter has a straight line plug which works perfectly. In some cases people might find that an angled connector is more useful but the straight line one was the right one for me. The sound quality on this adapter is as good or better than any that I have had in the past. I'm very pleased with this choice.

Worth the read
I seldom write these. On inserting first few times I could not get adapter to stay in radio. Yikes, what do I do? Fit of frustration, I will go through hassle of returning. No, another plan, let’s see what the inner webs has to say about this problem. First solution, get out your screwdriver and open case and remove one of the outermost gears. Done, still ejecting! Upon further reading you can take out all plastic gears inside, however, could cause unit to cease function. Final try, remove all gears save the the center ones that would wind tape in normal cassette. Voila, so far working!
