Excellent Backup Machine for Professional User
It is important to note that I used this machine professionally on a daily basis for one solid month. My main dual action polisher is a Rupes 21 Mark III. Great machine, but unfortunately it was down for a warranty claim and I needed a backup. Since the MaxShine machines intrigued me, I decided to buy a 21 Pro to compare to my Rupes and to have as a backup when it returned from warranty service. I used it for a solid month and can say the following: Ergonomics are great, actually. I like the feel of the machine in my hands. The handle is thick and nicely angled. The head is palm sized for my larger hands and has a solid rubber grip that really looks nice too. The tool feels more compact than it is, if that makes sense. Its proportions and weight distribution are excellent. 5 of 5 stars Comfort is a 4 of 5 While it doesn't vibrate badly, it is not as smooth as the Rupes. I would describe the feel as more of a rumble than a sharp vibration. I have used it for spot work as well as hours long compounding and polishing jobs with no pain or fatigue. If I had never used this type of machine I likely would not have even made mention of this. I have added the "washer mod" underneath the backing plate so that there is no contact between the shroud and plate, but the plate still doesn't spin as freely as I would expect. With the machine off I spin the pad by hand and it stops quicker than other machines. Is this a lower quality bearing or something else? So far it has not made any odd noises, does not over heat, or give any indication of premature failure so this may be a non-issue. Don't confuse this with stalling. I have no complaints about its abilities. It seems to be an excellent value for the money spent. It costs less than half the Rupes and does the same things. The differences for me are the rumble feeling especially at higher RPM and my question about the bearing. Whether you are a professional looking for a less expensive backup machine (or even primary, who knows) or you are a hobbyist this is a great machine that does serious work in fine fashion.

Great machine
With a 21mm throw this unit is my go to for heavy scratch removal, but can be used to polish and wax too. Minimal vibration and fits well into your hands.

Move aside Rupes...
This is my second 21mm polisher I bought it as a back up to my torq 22D. Ok so this polisher is great. Compared to the 22d its shorter in length, its trigger is spot on with the variable speed dial. Its very powerful and the 1000 watt motor delivers a lot to the pad. It feels like quality and its vibration is average. I see no flaws with it yet. Although the supplied plate did hit the shroud so I replaced it with a 22d 6 inch plate and now it spins freely. I would definitely recommend it. So now I have my 22d with a 5 inch and the m21 pro with a 6 inch..will be snagging a 12mm I think...2 month update- all I can say is..perfection! This 21mm delivers on every level. Performs better than the torque 22d..worth every penny of $210

The grease from factory is horrible, causes a lot of vibration
Very powerful didn't have any issues with stalling, the only issue is the grease inside is terrible. doesn't lubricant the gears and makes the machine a little warm after an hour of use but nothing dangerous. Just needed to change the grease and after that is was pretty smooth.

Time Saver!
I've been looking for ways to increase my efficiency while detailing lately. Polishing is a time-consuming process, and anything I can do to shorten the amount of time I spend on each car (without compromising on the end result) is very important to me. I decided that even though my 15mm machines work fine, I might try a 21mm polisher. My thought was that if 15mm is faster to cut than the old school 8mm Griot's 6" polisher, 21mm should be even faster. The forums will scare you into thinking that 21mm machines stall all the time and are useless. That just isn't the case. The M21 Pro comes with a 6" backing plate backed up by a 1000w motor. I experienced almost no stalling whatsoever. If you did experience stalling, you could switch over to a 5" backing plate. I am quickly becoming a MaxShine fanboy. These machines are just workhorses. They do their jobs and I've yet to have an issue. Very pleased.

I've tried several DA polishers so far and by far I like this one the best
I started reading all the reviews after I purchased the Maxshine 21 Pro. I gotta tell ya I got worried. I just returned a Torx 8mm throw for smelling like it was burning wires inside the very first time I used it. After receiving the Maxshine pro 21 and trying it out on the hood of a heavily oxidized car I was blown away! The Torx polisher stopped spinning as soon as i touched the paint! My brother said Mark a line with a sharpie to see if its not spinning. We did and it wasn't! When we did the same on this maxshine polisher it spun so fast on the paint you couldn't tell there was a marked line on the backing pad! I compounded the hood with outstanding results! Then followed up with a fine cut polish with the maxshine then hand waxed the hood. This car didn't shine this good when it was purchased brand new! Then I did the same on my car and I got even better results. Either these people got a bad polisher or don't know how to use one with the correct chemicals to start with!!! To get great results use great products and I assure you this is one of them!!!

Fantastic machine. I detail professionally on large projects, where you are running a polisher for 10-15hrs, over the course of a few days / to a week. I must have 1000+ hours on this machine. Absolutely 0 issues, other than changing the supplied brushes. I had purchased a rupes MK5 thinking it was an upgrade… and I was dead wrong. While the rupes might initially feel slightly smoother( not a noticeable difference even after days behind the machine), within 15 hours, it was down for warranty. Will not be buying another rupes, and will likely be switching all my machines over to MaxShine. 10/10.

Me gustó el pulidor, solo hubo un detalle que en el título venían un producto gratis ( razón por la que opte por comprar) que en el paquete no se incluyó, pero el vendedor me hizo reembolso y todo bien, buena la atención de Amazon y el vendedor

I polish a car or 2 every day for the last 15 years (painting and polishing Is my business) using a common orbital polisher and a Porter random orbital one. THE MAXSHINE 21 PRO exided my expectation. That's one powerful design!!! MY Best purchase in few years. But remember !!! it needs special pads and right compounds. + education (how to ...) an that level of polishing . It's amazing !
