Great shaver. A little disappointed in the beard and nose hair trimmer heads. I have a separate older model Phillips Norelco hair/beard trimmer that works great. Same for a separate nose hair trimmer (different manufacturer, but cheap). The other heads on this model work well enough that I will just take those for travel rather than bringing 3 devices, but not well enough to use instead of them for routine use at home. But all the heads will fit in the case which isn’t too bulky for me for travel as with some other models. So, a very good compromise. I haven’t used the head cleaner yet, but not too worried about that since my old model P-N SensoTouch 3D didn’t have a cleaner option and I’ve never replaced the heads. This new model has a better shave and I like both the quick charge option if needed as well as the battery life indicator.Update after more use: The trimmer attachment actually works really well, just needed to get used to it. Also note that Costco has a somewhat similar model for a little cheaper, but I chose this one due to portability and a couple of other minor differences and I am very happy to have paid a little extra to get this version!

Absolutely the best electric shaver I have ever owned. Never irritates my skin, reaches every spot without issue. Excellent maintenance and cleaning setup as well. A single charge lasts me 10+ shaves. Very smooth shave, easy to use.

Absolutely best electric razor I have EVER used...period! Quick charging, easy to hold, and all the accessories such as neck trimmer and nose/ear trimmer work exceptionally well. Expensive.. but worth it. You need to use the Norelco app to register the shaver and get the 7 year warranty. P.S. First shaver I have used that gets stubborn neck and chin hairs/wiskers.

The shaver itself is excellent. It truly does shave as close as a razor. Unfortunately, as others have experienced, the UV charging station didn't work. It charged up but it wouldn't charge my shaver or enter cleaning mode. I had to plug shaver directly to the cord to recharge. Having paid an extra $100 for this feature, I am returning it after a lot of troubleshooting and a call to Norelco. Norelco customer service was good, BTW. I'll buy the same shaver but without the UV charger to replace it.

Best shaver I’ve ever used! Gives a smooth, close shave without irritation. Battery lasts long, charges quickly, and it’s very comfortable to handle. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality shaver.

My husband loves his new razor! Very nice it works quite well does alot of features which he likes. But for the money it is worth itHusband said he hasn't had that good of shave for a long time...

It stopped working after two months, their customer service group is the worst thatI have ever experienced. They get on the phone with you and always ask the same questions and tell you the same answer “we need to escalate this to the technical department.”I have called lots of time but have yet to hear back from one person, I bought extended warranty at the time of purchase but the provider tells me that until I hear a resolution from Philips there is nothing they can do. Maybe throw away the top of the line Philip Electric Shaver or go back to my razor blades of years ago.

I used Philips Norelco electric razors for years. Worked well and never stopped. Yet, I felt the older models were lacking when the beard was a few days old, so I tried the Braun Series 9 Pro. It was fine for long whiskers, but never got close enough. Searched a few more tube videos and decided the Panasonic ARC6 was a smart idea. At first, it handled the long and the short of it, and I thought I was on to something. But the blade sharpness declined quickly and after a few months it started to sound like an outdoor yard tool. I jumped at the chance to purchase this new Norelco. Nirvana! Handles long whiskers and gets so close and I love the cleaning system and UV case to sterilize and recharge the razor. When you open the head you do not see residue from many shaves. Cleaning handles that issue, so after months the sharpness continues. The app and glowing lights show the amount of pressure and motion you should use to shave and is designed to train you for the closest shave. It is high tech, to be sure, but I have found that pressing a bit harder and not worrying about seeing the green light rim around the razor actually results in the closest shave I have ever had! Perfection. So, don't worry about the app. The shave is close and smooth, no nicks, no pulls, and no irritation. Cleaning system is amazing and it is quiet. It fits the hand perfectly and is lighter than the Braun or Panasonic. I have found the perfect razor. Worth every dollar.
