Update! Casabrews support got back to me and went out of their way to make it right!! i got a call from a service rep here in the usa who was super helpful and kind and apologetic--she explained i probably got a testing unit... they are shipping the correction over. All is well now and a positive vote for Casabrews original review: At first i thought i was just slow to learn how to put it together, Took me a long while to figure out what was wrong, the whole base for the tray (or i guess the tray itself) is missing , it's just black plastic area, nowhere to set your coffee mug, there is no grinder and tamper and it's missing various plastic pieces. i included a photo of the advertised product with red arrows on missing pieces. it's a large waste of my time and also a bulky product to have to take back for return. Either way glad to have prime for such an expensive purchase.

it's a beautiful machine! I purchased this to spoil my employees [at our business] and keep them caffeinated on busy days. If you're a beginner-- you should definitely purchase a pressurized 58mm basket to get the pressure perfect every time. It does overheat after 4 or 5 drinks in a row. Overall, i think it was a great purchase compared to the $2700 Breville I originally wanted to buy. The main thing i dislike about the machine -- the portafilter never goes in smooth...you have to put some strength into it and line it up perfectly. I have a smaller casabrews @ my home and the portafilter goes in effortlessly.

Garbage. A waste of money. While the Espresso machine part works okay, the hopper that holds the coffee beans stops working, making it pointless. If you want to use this rubbish Espresso maker, plan to buy a bean grinder, even though they provide a spare grinder, it is worthless because the cheap plastic hopper will fail. Do yourself a favor and spend a bit more on a better brand. This brand stinks. Casabrew should be named CasaBlows.
