Outboard water pump repair kit
Everything in the repair kit fit fine & after installation, water was coming out of the tell tale hole where it wasn't with the old impeller.

Works great
Product worked out great. My 2004 Yamaha 150 HPDI is pumping water as it should again. I only gave 4 stars because the kit should really come with the plastic lock fitting and the metal cap that presses down on the impeller on the shaft. Those things are a pain to remove and are easily damaged in the process. Aside from that, the kit was a perfect fit.

My service agent did not want to use this kit.
I bought this to install myself. Since I ran out of time, I arranged for the local agent to service the motor and install the kit. The service agent refused to use the kit as in his opinion the impeller rubber was inferior and he installed genuine Yamaha parts instead. He showed me the difference and left it for me to decide - the rubber in this kit was softer but I whether it less effective is unknown. I went with the more costly recommendation of the service agent.

Worked well
I could not use all of the parts. The old pump housing would not easily allow the new SS housing. Old one was fine. Everything else work fine. Satisfied with parts and price.

Not a perfect fit
Was supposed to be a fit for a yamaha 150... Well almost. The stainless cup didnt fit the housing. Had to modify. Not a perfect fit.

Junk!
Replaced the water pump on my outboard just like I’ve done many times before and when I ran the engine to test everything out, the temperature alarm came on a few minutes later. Took the lower unit back off to find the impeller in pieces. Now those pieces are scattered in my engine and not even sure where to start with making those repairs. Luckily this didn’t happen miles away from shore. Don’t not trust cheap junk like this!
