I have the T5 grow light with the white cover, 8 pk. This set doesn't have the internal magnets just fyi in case you want that option. They do sell sets with magnets. I like that they are lightweight & slim enough to blend in wherever you put them. This is my 3rd set of lights from Barrina & I've have had no issues with performance. I prefer that these don't have a built in timer as another brand of light I have with the timer requires the large boxy plug in that is often a pain in a number of ways. For these lights I bought a GE mechanical timer & it is working out great. Feels safer than the heavy plug in that if bumped or jostled can fall partially out of the socket. They also sell seperate sets of the white power cord in their store which is helpful. Don't see that too often anymore. Only thing I feel is missing is being able to dim or switch colors of lighting. But not a huge deal. I would recommend

After looking at many lights (including bulbs and non-grow lights), I think my ideal warmth for lights would be 3500K-4000K. I feel this is the most neutral without too much blue or yellow. For some reason, all the companies are focused on 3000K and 5000K, which feels too yellow/warm or blue/cool to me. I'll dig more into the warmth for this product in a bit. As grow lights, I'm pretty content with what I see in the Barrina T5 10W lights. I have a collection of maybe 40-50 plants, with a lot of repeated species/cultivars. Most of my collection is a mix of low light plants and aroids and succulents. I've got a handful of plants that may just be staying alive but not necessarily thriving. I'm looking mainly at my crotons and succulents which I think would be considered "high light" plants. These have shown some growth, but I believe they'd benefit from more light than the 10W lights output. I plan to try out the 24W T8 lights from Barrina for those plants. I'm pretty happy with the kits that Barrina put together. I like the clips, as they seem longer lasting and more flexible when I need to move things around. The connecting cables could benefit from being longer, but the current length has worked in my situation. The length does limit options, however. The pinkish white lights are really not that off-putting. The pink hue is definitely noticeable, but it's not in-your-face. With that said, they do stand out if next to the 3000K or 5000K lights. I'm not sure how much an impact the pinkish lights have on growth, but I'd definitely prefer the 3000K or 5000K lights to the pinkish aesthetically. Going back to the warmth of the lights, I think I lean toward liking the cooler ones a bit more. The 5000K lights do have a bit more blue to them, and I think it shows a bit in the plants. I feel like the 3000K lights make the plant leaves pop a bit more, and they seem a bit more lively. The yellow seems to combine with that natural greens and yellows in the plants a bit better. However, I think the plants as a whole kind of blend together in the yellow light. They can also give a bit of a tired feeling that tends to happen with warmer lighting. You get that cozy, ready-for-bed sensation. In my spaces, I've got some beige and white walls. I think the yellow lights make the white walls seem a bit dingy, and the pink undertones in the beige combine with the yellow to make the walls look a bit orange or tan. The cooler lights look better on the wall colors to me, and I think they improve the contrast of the plants so they stand out more against the backdrop. I think the negatives of both colors stand out more when side-by-side with the other lights. But when you have only 3000K or only 5000K, the negatives don't stand out as much. So at least in my space, I think I like the 5000K lights better for lighting up my plants, assuming the pink, yellow, and blue lights all encourage the same type of growth. That is... until you notice the random streaks of light hitting your wall. For whatever reason, these 5000K lights send out noticeable bands of light parallel to the LED bars onto nearby walls. There's a streak of white and a streak of yellow. I find it visually distracting, and it draws the eyes away from the plants you're trying illuminate. So my conclusion is that if you're just interested in grow lights and color doesn't matter, any of the 3 colors should work. The pink could have some growth benefit. If aesthetics are important in your decision, I'd get either the 5000K or the 3000K lights, depending on if warm or cool will work better in your space. If you're like me and you want something neutral, I lean toward the 5000K for my reasons above. But you'll have to be willing to have those distracting streaks of light projecting from the LED bar. I have two spaces where I'm placing plants and lights, and I'm pickier in one of them. Those streaks from the 5000K aren't acceptable in that space. I think the 3000K is too warm as well, so I'm stuck there. In my other space, I haven't made up my mind whether I want 3000K or 5000K. If the streaks weren't there, I'd go 5000K. As grow lights, I'd rate these a 5/5. As lighting you'd place within your home, I give them a 3/5. I'm sticking with 3/5 for the overall rating because I view the streaks as a design defect, and Barrina doesn't seem to have the option for 4000K grow lights. The 5000K lights also haven't been packaged as well for whatever reason, and I've had to return an order because of visible damage during transport.

I like these lights, I just wish they had a timer. I did know that at time of purchase.
