Casablanca products are definitely a cut above the cheap stuff you find at the DIY stores--materials, finish, and motor quality are obviously all better. The fan is quiet and stable. If you are capable of basic electrical wiring and can safely stand on a ladder, the fan can easily be installed without an electrician as the installation instructions included with it are very clear. We bought and installed three of these and we love them.

We installed this fan 2 years ago in our daughter's bedroom. I cannot say enough positive things about this ceiling fan. It has never given us problems, it is quiet and it pushes air like to keep the room temperature comfortable. I wish I had bought a second for my bedroom.

tired of humming sound of fans bought from lowes found this one after our electrician recommended. it took two hours my friend and I finally put it up and so happy with its quietness. It costs lots of more but it well worth it!

We have had Casablanca fans before and have always bought them because of how quiet they run. These are no different and are very quiet in operation. The only noise you will hear from these will be the wind at the highest setting and you really can’t complain about that. Putting them together is pretty standard for ceiling fans. Nothing extraordinary, though I always hate assembling the blades when the motor is already hanging, but often times that is the way it is. One item of note are the remote controls. We have had other fans where we had to change dip switches and reprogram the remote so it would not interfere with other fans in the house by the same manufacture. Not the case with theses. No extra work needs to be done with the remotes. Lastly, the light is adequately bright for a guest or ancillary bedroom/office as a single light and it is dimmable.

Loudest fan I have ever had. The blases are shaped terribly and when they spin they make a loud noise.

Good quality. Easy to install. Very quiet but moves a lot of air. Looks great. Liked the first one I bought so much that I purchased a second one. Only thing I think they could improve on is the look of the wall mount for the remote — it works good and looks ok, but I would pay a extra if they offered a more stylish one.

We have purchased Casablanca fans in the past and we have been very pleased with our purchases to the extent that we only purchase Casablanca fans; however, we were disappointed in this model because the LED module does not put out enough light. We are accustomed to having a bright bedroom and this fixture makes the room look dingy. Not recommended if you are looking for a fixture that will light up the room.

This is a nice fan with a very quiet motor. Easy install, too (if you've done a ceiling fan, before, this is a no brainier). But be warned: 1) the wall remote shown in the photo is NOT the remote you get in the box. I really wanted trust style remote. The remote you get is functional but doesn't look as nice and just sucks to a plastic wall plate so it will get knocked off and the studs it mounts to may break in time. I found this misleading and the photo should be updated. 2) the fan (not motor) noise is fairly high. It's a wooahing sound likely due to being three blades (it replaced a five blade model). I can't really run this on high in my bedroom is so obnoxious. Speed three is possibly tolerable. Two is acceptable.
