Fragrant Fields in My Own Backyard – Lavender Dreams Come True!
I’ve always adored the soothing scent of English lavender wafting through Provençal fields on travel shows, but I never imagined I could grow that same premium magic right here in my Zone 7b garden. These Premium English Lavender Seeds (Lavandula angustifolia) delivered exactly that fantasy—and then some. Germination was a breeze: • 85%+ sprout rate within 10 days using the included peat pellet starter kit (a thoughtful bonus!). • Clear, step-by-step instructions walked even this novice seed-starter through cold stratification and ideal soil temps. • Transplanted seedlings at 6 weeks; every single one took root like a champ. Growth & fragrance? Unreal. • By midsummer, my 4x6 ft bed exploded into a purple haze of classic true lavender spikes—denser and more vibrant than anything at the local nursery. • The aroma is pure therapy: sweet, herbaceous, and powerfully calming. I brush past the plants just to inhale that premium, spa-grade scent. • Bees and butterflies threw a non-stop garden party; my pollinator count tripled. Harvest perks: • First-year blooms yielded enough to fill 12 sachets, 3 batches of lavender-lemon shortbread, and a giant jar of homemade bath salts. • Stems dry beautifully—color and scent hold for months. Hardy, deer-resistant, drought-tolerant once established, and certified non-GMO/organic. If you want that iconic English countryside vibe (minus the jet lag), these seeds are gold. My only regret? Not planting two packets. Time to expand the lavender empire! 🌿💜

Very low percent germination
Bought these for use in home garden. Unfortunately the seeds exhibited very low percent germination (i.e. the vast majority not germinating at all).

Updated, Seller is great
Update: Seller reached out to me and offered to send a replacement and provided advice. The seeds need to go through stratification. So if they are not planted during cold weather. Place the seeds in plastic bag with paper towel to simulate the cold before planting, This will help the seeds to germinate. Old Review: Perhaps you need to do a seed sprout indoors before planting. These seeds never germinated. They were fertilized and we had a ton of rain. Nothing grew.

Premium English Lavender Seeds | 1300 Non-GMO Herb Seeds
I've wanted to grow lavender for a while but I know it can be difficult compared to other related plants. I planted a few seeds into my hydroponic grow system just over a week ago and am waiting patiently. I love that they provide a multitude of seeds and the packet has instructions on how and when to grow these depending on where you're located or if they're inside or outside. The seeds look like they are not too dry. I will update with pictures when they grow and bloom.

Bad seeds
I’m an experienced gardener and 40 of these seeds did not germinate when every other seed I planted did in the same conditions.

WOW SO MANY SEEDS.
Wow this is so many seeds. Lavender seeds are super small, making them hard to plant. I have had tough luck figuring out how to plant and grow lavender. I'm glad I got this massive bag of seeds. What I've found to be the best with tiny seeds like these is I put the seed starting mix in the little germination trays. Then I wet it down and let it absorb the water for a while. Then I stir it up with a tooth pick and make sure there are no deep valleys or holes. I then sprinkle the seeds over each little germination slot. Then I use a spray bottle to gently spray the and then put the cover over the tray. This seems to work the best. The next part is not letting them die before you can transplant them. LOL But these seeds germinate well if done like I listed. And put the germination tray either under a small light indoors or in the shade/partial filtered sun so they don't get much light and get too hot. Within 10 days you will have tons of tiny sprouts.
