Is it needed the be plug to electricity adapter all the time ? Or have a battery ?

It needs to be plugged-in all the time. It has a built-in Wi-Fi and to maintain the connection, it needs power all the time. It does not have a battery.

Can it control a portable ac unit via the breeze's own thermostat? meaning can it function as a remote thermostat, overriding the ac's thermostat?

There is a nuance here. There is this setting called Comfy in the Cielo that will use the Cielo’s thermometer to send commands to the ac. I have mine set for heating so that if the temp goes above 70 it sends a command of 68, and if temp drops below 69 it sends a command of 86. Works perfectly to hold temps in the desired range. Only a bit annoying because it’s basically either all on or all off, but that’s better than no control at all.

Can this control an amana heating and ac unit? and if not, can it be manually programmed with the original remote?

If you have the remotes remotes number you can enter it in the setup and if it doesn’t find it then you can manually program it with the original remote. I had an off brand AC and it did not find it in there database during setup and I programmed the Cielo manually but my Mitsubishi I entered the remotes model number and it found it in the database and programmed it automatically.

Will this product work on the pioneer wyt012alfi19rl for all/typical functions?

The unit lists compatible devices using the model number of your remote. It did not cover all of the functions I wanted on my Fujitsu, but the tech was able to customize my unit so that I got the functions that I wanted (my unit has four fan speeds and the Cielo has only three but not the three I use. It was an easy change to get access to the three I use).
