Citrus Juicer From Dovetail Squeezers - Stainless Steel Lemon and Lime Juice Squeezer.

Wow! The Dovetail lemon and lime squeezer is a serious piece of kitchen equipment! I used it as soon as I unwrapped it, and it does an amazing job. I have small hands, yet this very substantial product is very easy to use, and just right for me. I love the quality look and feel of the stainless steel construction, and am confident it will be with me for the long haul. My last one was of inferior materials and quality, and lasted accordingly. The Dovetail lemon Squeezer however, is a great investment, and I'm so happy I bought it!

I decided to get more fresh juice in my diet-so I purchased this squeezer to add freshly squeezed lemon and lime to my drinking water. Since I use it a lot I wanted one that was really heavy duty and durable. This one; it turns out is built like a tank. All solid and definitely over engineered. One of those things that will probably last a lifetime. Easy to use and easy to clean. Thanks for a great product.

I'm a bartender who was looking for a new juicer and it broke within the first night of use. The bottom handle broke off. Cheaply constructed and overpriced. Buy another product.

It's sturdier and nicer looking than the aluminum ones, and it's easy enough to clean. The steel is noticeably heavier, so flipping it open one-handed (like I did with the cheaper ones) feels like a recipe for dropping it and/or stressing the hinge. That makes it a little less convenient, but I'm still pretty happy with it.Seems like the manufacturer's quality control is pretty bad, or else shipping is somehow damaging units in transit. I had to return a few due to misaligned handles and loose bits of metal rattling around inside.

not good for lemons or limes (what i bought it for) because it is so large!!! would be great for oranges, and a little small for grapefruit. alas, not all citrus are the same size. also the "stainless steel" is rather flimsy sheet metal that has been formed to the shape that, in other versions of this juicer are solid pieces. the hinge is a grommet that does not look like it will hold up over time.we kept it because we will so rarely use it, it was not worth the trouble to return, but i would not buy it again for the above reasons.

Let me start by saying that I'm somewhat of mixologist always looking to use in my cocktails fresh ingredients like juices:lemon,orange,pineapple and so on.I bought this item with the thoght that it's gone be part of my everyday tools for work and not only. So let's start:The good: indeed you can fit about half orange and with easy a half lemon to be crushed and take the juice out at ease. indeed seemed to be used good stell to make this piece of squeezer and I can washed very easy. seems to be a solid build and sure it get the job done and hopefully it will hold for a few months.The bad: I really bought it for 2 things : the fact that it has a large cup and that it had long handles( when you work in my line of field and always you make fresh ingredients on spot) it doen't have that at all. In fact they are damn short. That make's things difficult if you have products that are not too juice and you have to press really harder. This results in ocasionally pains in your hand joints time to time. Only if they had this handles longer , ohh man what a product it would be ! Or to make it in 2 stages by turning and twisting the arms around.Conclusion: for house use and ocasional house parties is a nice item to have around. I mean you get for what you are paying. For those that want a frequent use of making juice in a demanding enviroment like busy bars or longes, maybe you should search for something else, as the more you are using it , your joints will suffer due to short handles . Also because of that you will tend to apply too much pressure to press the limes and that will probably in time damage the item, thought it did not happened to me yet. I'm saying this cause most of my squeezers brake in about a month of use , due to the work I due combined with the washing machine factor that might have a roll in that.

I bought this based on high recommendation - I am very happy. It works great and effortlessly. I used it to squeeze limes (Hint #1: Usually after microwaving half limes in container for 30 seconds or so to soften). I squeeze each half separately, the pack about 4 halves then squeeze all to recover additional juice. (Hint #2: Don't forget to turn squeezer to side (to drain juice) since drainage holes tends to block during squeeze). I am very happy with the quality ... even though I think/feel it's a little pricey, but quality in not cheap!

Good buy. Very sturdy. You would think that having half a lemon domed upside-down would make it hard to squeeze the two sides together, but it is hinged and balanced in such a way that it takes very little effort to squeeze that half lemon flat. I have bad arthritis in the joint at the base of my thumb and this was easy and painless to use. Would definitely recommend.
