Surprisingly hefty little saw. Don't get me wrong, doesn't weigh a lot , but back inn the day that was a way to tell the quality of something was if it was "heavy" it meant the components were good, lol. Batteries are the same, 4 ah batteries I believe, and they weigh about the same as others of same rating, maybe a little less, but hefty, lol. Full disclosure I haven't set the saw up and run it yet, but the components all look good. I actually have a couple different cordless chainsaws of this caliber, and price point. They work surprisingly well for what they are. They are teeny compared to even a small gas saw, but I have cut up several trees with them doing trail maintenance around my property. For a sub$70 saw at this writing, I don't think you can go wrong. These are not for cutting tons of cordwood, but great for storm damage, trail work, pruning. One other , well two, I like is this one is self oiling, some you need to press an oil button to oil the chain, like the old days of chainsaws, and second, I like it comes with two batteries. One note on that, if you have other "Chinese made "knockoff tools", many times the batteries are interchangeable . I discovered that by chance one day.

I was quite excited to get this. It was easy to assemble and I immediately went to attack some trees and shrubbery with it. It handles smaller jobs well, I quite like how the saw felt when working with it. The battery lasted pretty well, I only used one battery for some time and it still had charge in it. Overall I felt for what I needed (smaller type jobs) it is worth the money.

This is a preliminary review, based on 1st unboxing & setup. I'll revise if further use alters any 1st impressions.Assembly is a little more 'fiddley' than a typical chainsaw, but not unexpected for something this inexpensive. The instruction manual is also unsurprisingly not quite accurate, including the fact that the illustrations are for a different saw. Example: they show adding chain oil to a filler neck on top, while this saw's fill port is on the side. They also show an oiler adjustment, which this saw does not have. They *do* say to remove the oil if the saw is stored, 'to prevent leakage'. They say no chain oil is included. There is, however, a tiny bottle of extremely light weight oil (about a tablespoon full) with no instructions for its use.The battery charger feels so light weight that it makes one wonder if there's anything inside except the red & green LEDs. The 1st battery has been on the charger for about an hour and still does not show full charge based on the charger's indicator lights. This is highly unusual for fresh out of the box lithium batteries; most will typically show topped off after only 10-15 minutes on their charger. Two batteries are included, but those batteries should be viewed as the limit to a day's work, since the charger isn't going to be able to top off one in the time it takes to deplete the other.This is a very inexpensive tool, so it's reasonable for expectations to be kept low. But sometimes, it's better to just pay more for a more useful tool.

I was initially skeptical about the quality given the price point, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. It cuts well and with a good amount of power. It doesn’t disappoint in comparison with more expensive alternatives. It met my expectations and I would recommend it given it’s a great value.

Easy to assemble and adjust chain for proper tension. Batteries operate saw sized to works well for cutting larger logs. Safety stop works as it should. For a small saw it handles cutting both limbs and firewood well. Oiler is convenient and works well. Just need to remember to shut it off after use to avoid losing oil. Good price for a chainsaw that included 2 batteries.I used this saw to show my 10 yr old grandson how to safely use a chainsaw.Only negatives so far- it would be nice if it came with a sharpening file, storage case and chain cover. Also, appears that the wrong instructions for use are included as info about oiler doesn't match this saw. I don't see any way to contact seller so perhaps they will see this review.

This little saw does a good job on branches and small trees or shrubs. The saw did a great job cutting. I love that it's self lubricated and easy to maintain. It comes with all the tools you need and includes gloves and safety glasses. The spare batteries & chain is an added bonus.
