Bike Parks: IMBA's Guide to New School Trails

Haven't read it yet but it will assist us in our new endeavor building a bike park!

If you are trying to budget and navigate the politics of a major development, then this book is probably a great resource. If your looking for modern feature building techniques and designs, this book really does not have them. I was disappointed.

Another great book for the trail building library!

It’s a book about how to fund raise, how to work with land managers, and how to use huge budgets to pay professional trail builders to design and build the parks of their dreams.I was hoping to learn something about suitability of our site, tips for shaping and frequency of berms & jumps, and best practices for maintenance. There’s hardly a word about any of this. If you are a hands-on builder of trails like our 350 member club, and you are undertaking design-build of your first bike park, this book is pretty useless.

Well written with great information.

Really disappointed in this, if you’re going to be using trail building companies and have tons of funding and want to learn how to work with governments and municipalities etc this is for you. If you’re a digger and want to incorporate park style stuff it is not.

Garage! This book has ZERO to do with structure building and actual trails.Was nonsense!!!
