I get a little particular everytime I purchase new devices that I want to protect. My previous Macbook, I went without any protection that overtime, my trackpad would show fading (which annoyed me). This time around, I went with a trackpad and palm rest cover and couldn't be happier. I have the Space Black 16" Macbook Pro and this kit (space black) matches it perfectly. It came with 3 pieces: trackpad, palm area, and a strip above the keyboard. The trackpad and piece above the keyboard was the easiest to install. The palm rest part was a little trickier. It took me a few tries to line it up because there's two thin strips above and below the trackpad that would go off alignment because it's flimsy (understandable). I only took me a few tries and minutes to do so, but that's just me being particular. Overall, pretty happy with the product. It'll do what it's meant to.

This palm rest package is exactly what I was looking for to protect my brand new MacBook from my jewelry on my wrists. I had one on a prior MacBook for 10 years and the protection it offered was worth every penny (even though these are crazy affordable!). The color match is close enough that I don't really notice it. I also like that it came with both a top protector and a palm rest protector, as well as track pad and a free keyboard cover. The keyboard cover is not my cup of tea, as I feel it takes away from the feel of the Mac keys, however, I am also adjusting to a new MacBook from a smaller, 10 year old one so I may just not be used to the keyboard itself yet. I also opted to not use the trackpad cover but am saving it just in case I change my mind. For the palm rest cover alone I would purchase this again.

I have an issue with a spot bubbling up but the rest is great

I have had many MacBook Pros over the years, and I tend to wear through the trackpad and option and shift keys. This time I bought a keyboard overlay and this CaseBuy rest protector. I first tried some other brand clear track pad sticker, but I could not for the life of me get it down without bubbles. This one went on super easy and looks awesome. While I have never scratched the area around the trackpad, I do appreciate the protection it offers. Not sure why the other piece below the monitor, but it is on there too. As for the feel of the trackpad, I think I like it better - I know this sounds weird, but the texture just feels good.
