This was purchased for a Christmas present. Nice watch, looks more expensive than it is, the links were easy to remove to fit my wrist. After several wearings, I noticed the dial did not light up at night. Looked at the instructions, nothing about the light up function. After reading the full description on Amazon, it said it needed to be in intense light for several hours for it to activate. Put it out on the deck in the sunlight for 8 hours, still no illumination at night. Disappointed on the misrepresentation; I don't think it actually has an illumination function.
