Authentic supplier
I am not a good judge of this type of product, but I think it did the job well on my first try and I trust this brand. Had considered buying fermented black beens separately for use in combination, but this no longer seems necessary for now, despite the recipe I was using. Will continue to experiment.

良くできていると思います。
豆豉みそは中華料理にコクを与えてくれる調味料ですが、様々な製品があって、それぞれ大きく違うのです。これは豆が姿のまま入って熟成度が少なめの印象がありますが、味はなかなかで、上手に使えば料理の味を深めてくれる印象です。

Made the dish taste very very salty
I used it to make jjangmyeon and it overpowered the dish with a salty taste. Will not buy it again because I want to control how salty the resulting dish is.
