Wusthof Classic Carving Set

A Lovely sturdy carving set, that are a pleasure to use. I almost bought the cheaper ones by Wusthof, but luckily after reading some reviews I quickly realised that the quality is not a patch on the Classic set. Would recommend, if you love the classic Wusthof quality.

An excellant carving set. With 50 years of carving experience, this is the best set I have ever used. One minor criticism, it would be nice if the set had been supplied in a more substantial box.

Very Sharp

I had originally intended to just purchase the carving knife as wasn’t prepared to pay £35 for the fork, but when Amazon reduced the set I bought it.I own other Wusthof knives and this one lives up to what I’d expect- very sharp and well balanced. The knife has a good weight but mainly in the handle as the blade is very thin and has some flexibility to it.I would say don’t expect anything from the box - it is not a presentation box, just a thin plastic and cardboard for shipping.Overall, if you’re looking at this you already know about Wusthof and this is up to their usual standards

We are hoping that the carving set fully lives up to the reputation of Wusthofs quality . The set is a gift for our son in law for his birthday in May . We chose this set because the cheaper Wusthof set seems to be of Chinese manufacture for some reason and we wanted the genuine product from the manufacturer so hopefully from other reviews we have made the right choice . Time will tell and if we’re disappointed with the quality we’ll report so later hence the 4 star rating at present .
