Q: What is the difference between potassium citrate and nitrate?

Potassium nitrate, KNo3, aka “Salt Peter”, is used to kill tree stumps and is also the main ingredient used to make black powder and smoke bombs. Don’t consume it!

Q: How many milligrams of potassium citrate is contained in 1 tsp.?

On October 19, 2021 I contacted BulkSupplements regarding dosage and I received the following answer: Our label states: Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take 275 mg (about 1/10 tsp) once daily, or as directed by a physician. Within the 275mg dosage, you are only consuming 98mg of the elemental Potassium, the remainder being Citric Acid (Citrate).

Q: is this good for increasing bone density

I have personally dramatically increased my bone density using Naturesway Strontium/D3/K2. I understand Strontium fills in the outside bone caps, not the inside of the bone. The research for K2 seems to be strongest for strengthening the teeth, which is particularly important if you're also taking Fosomax or the like
