This bike lock is exactly as described. It's easy to use. Setting the passcode was easy. I haven't had any issues with lock sticking or with the lock opening without the right combo. The holster fits nicely on my bike, which makes it very easy to take with me when I'm riding. It's about the right amount of security I need for my very inexpensive and kind of old 1-speed bike. All of that said: this bike lock will not prevent a bike thief from taking your bike. This lock is more a deterrent to some random person jumping on your unlocked bike and riding away on it. Anyone actually looking to steal a bike will be able to quickly and easily cut this lock with decent bolt cutters; they won't even need to try to pick it (though I'm sure that wouldn't be too difficult). If you are looking for a lock that will actually slow a bike thief down, I recommend spending the extra money on a good quality U-Lock (like the Kryptonite New York Fahgettaboudit or Kryptonite Evolution) over a cable or chain lock.

I like how it comes off and goes on really easy so I can hang my bike in the garage without it interfering. I have not had an opportunity to actually use it to lock the bike yet.

Not a bad lock. Definitely worth the money. It is very sturdy and rugged. It is a good length, able to go around the front wheel, the frame, and the bike rack. The dials are easy to turn, the combination is easy to set. I think this is a good lock for peace of mind in locking your bike (or whatever needs locked) to prevent theft. Definitely recommended.

Been using this product for the past 2 months. This was a very useful lock... until it decided to stop working! On one fateful Wednesday after I finished my gym workout, I headed towards the bike rack to unlock my bike as I usually do; except after entering my usual combination, this lock suddenly refused to open. After proceeding to re-enter my combination more times than I'd like to admit, I came to the realization that my lock was now broken/jammed. After reading a few other reviews on here as well, it seems I'm not alone with having this issue. So here I am on a random Wednesday morning at 2AM with a bike that I'm unable to move and with it being so early in the morning, I would not be able to call a locksmith for the next 6-7 hours where I live. I was almost about to give up and leave my bike stranded until I came up with the ingenious idea to try to force the lock open with my bare hands. And much to my surprise... it actually worked!!! After my initial wave of happiness from freeing my $2000 bike from its prison cell, it quickly sunk into me how mediocre this lock truly was. Not only did it decide to stop working out of nowhere at possibly the worst time of day (2AM), but you could just break the damn thing open by just pulling at it for only a few minutes; no tools required on my end. With that being said, I am disappointed in my purchase and will proceed to look elsewhere to purchase my future lock. Do not recommend.

This is the second one of these locks we've purchased. Great looking and so easy to use. Highly recommend.

This is a high quality lock that I am using to secure my scooter. It can be used to lock up anything you want to secure it is easy to use and reasonably strong. While not impregnable I feel comfortable leaving my expensive scooter secured by it.

This bike lock is brilliant. Best money I ever spent. My kid and I accidentally reset my lock code when we both tried to lock it at the same time once though so be aware when you lock and unlock your lock. It was fortunate I had a huge metal wrench in my bike basket for some reason that day. We had to beat the absolute crap out of it for forty five minutes to get the lock off. Our second plan was going to Bunnings nearby to buy some tool to cut it off. There is no way anyone will get this lock off without causing a scene. An obvious theft. It was just lucky my kid and I were at hungry jacks with his bike and his matching lock and ur helmets as we got several questions to what we were doing. Today I was at a pub for two hours at midday. When I left I realised my bike lock had been tampered with! Extremely upsetting. There was random paint on it and the right side of the lock wasn’t sitting flush and someone has tried to pull it apart. But like I said earlier this lock is not going to come off without absolute brute force. There are security cameras there too. There is a huge event on in my town and the crowds are thick hence the bike choice today. I am immensely grateful that I had this lock on today and not my flimsy key lock from big w which is my backup if I can’t locate this one. I’m certain if not for this lock, my bike (a yellow Reid with a kid seat on the back and a metal basket that holds the wicker basket on the front - I’d taken the wicker inside with me) would have never been seen again. Thank you a million. Am ordering a replacement this week in case the tampering risks the code being affected. Wish I could rate this lock a million stars. Have attached images of my white bike lock that we had to shatter when we accidentally reset it and couldn’t get it off, and the green one that was tampered with today. There is no way you can pull this lock off easily. Highly recommend this lock to anyone who needs to lock something up securely.

I actually purchased this bike lock foy my mobility scooter, and it works really well! It's nice and light but very strong. It's very easy to wrap it around the handlebars and because it's white in color it's easy to see and acts as a great deterrent for would-be thieves.
