We needed for our bakery and these were perfect for the job

I brought these for my open fire, they're ok for putting on or handling logs around the fire. However, they offer limited protection from direct heat when moving burning embers or a burning log, within a few seconds the heat will pass through the gloves. Don't get me wrong, they do offer protection but not to the level I was expecting.I previously used Stovax which are twice the price but do the job, in hindsight I should have gone for the Stovax and not tried to save a few £'s. Don't be fooled by the description on this product, fire resistant they maybe but extreme heat they're not as good as they claim.

Can move live logs safely

Very happy with these gloves. Bought as a stocking filler at Christmas for my fiancé and he’s very happy with them. Good value for money and heat resistant. Great for our log burner. Gloves come far enough up the forearm to be able to place hand into the log burner.

I have had these gloves now for over 3 months and since the days have turned colder have used them daily. I have to say they exceeded any expectations , they are true gauntlets protecting the forearms as well as the hands . Very pleased with them and as a very satisfied real customer recommend these gloves

This is perfect for my open fire. I' I literally put wood on the fire directly over open flames without even thinking about it and I never feel anything nor do I catch fire. Whereas normal DIY gloves I used before would heat up and burn my fingers in no time. These are perfect for my needs.

Well made, keep the heat away for long enough to feel like a man.Don’t stand for too long with your arms out for a hug from a loved one, as a bird of prey may land on your arm.
