I have been drinking Runa for more than 5 years. I could figure it out if I did the math. The reason for my loyalty is that I enjoy the specific experience that specifically comes from the guayusa plant's caffeine. Those people who tell you to just use another tea bag, don't care about the specific experience you have don't get it. I could drink coffee but for whatever reason it causes stomach cramps in me, as well as makes me jittery, nervous and it's unfocused. I could drink straight green tea, but it makes me too jittery.I could write a ten page review on this. I'm like the Runa Sommelier at this point. They used to sell them in giant glass bottles and they were lightly sweetened - kind of like teavana or honest tea- those were amazing. Then the company got bought by Pepsi or something and then created this all natural in a can energy drink. Ugh ok. I'll drink the tiny little cans of energy. They work fine, they're potent, like an expresso shot in a can instead of drinking some regular coffee. Ok, they had all two lines - non sweetened and lightly sweetened. They tasted fine, like a Starbucks Refresher, which i would drink often, except Refreshers use fake sugar and if you try to drink them regularly, your stomach will start to hurt. (as you can see i've experimented because i wanted a cheaper option but haven't found it) The Refreshers use Green Tea extract so like i said earlier, its a really jittery ride.This month, I got my auto-refill from Amazon and it looks like Runa has been reformulated again- I wish someone had let us know-- and now they are 10 calories, so very very lightly sweetened. Luckily, they use natural sugar, not like some weird sugar substitute. Do I like the new flavor? No. Do I have a choice? No. This is still my preferred caffeine ride.As an aside, do i need to drink less sugar? Probably. Will you just sip this can of 10 calorie tea and think, my god what a delight. No. Do carbonated drinks taste a little like battery acid? yes. Is the caffeine in this make it all worth it? YES. Does this have 2 expresso shots worth of caffeine in a can and thus you should drink it slowly? Yes. Should they have kept at least one sugary Runa? Yes. It is not for me to decide. Also, if you are a Runa Superfan like me, please post a reply so I know I'm not alone.

Scratching my head at these reviews from people who got the product for free from amazon vine (first I have heard of that!) and clearly are not into energy drinks to begin with. I ordered the mango and it was great...I converted from a combo of 5 hour energy and red bull to Runa once I found Runa. I also like their guava iced teas. Amazon had a coupon for 15% of $30 so it came to $2.25 a can or so, not bad for an organic energy boost. Berry is my favorite but mango is now second. Very light and refreshing, carbonated but tasted natural. Only complaint is I like the smaller cans from older flavors, 12oz is a but much. I will be ordering more.

I don't care for these as much as other energy drinks. I prefer Xyience, but wanted to try something different. Probably will not purchase this again.

Taste like a lightly flavored mellow tea, but definitely has a lot of energy. I would say stronger than a red bull. Love how it's only 10 calories and doesn't use artificial sweeteners. None of that gross fake sweet flavors like other low calorie drinks.

This was honestly the most DISGUSTING taste I have EVER tried, (and to think I used to think that SugarFree Red Bull tasted bad, but compared to this, Red Bull tastes divine!). This was a TOTAL waste of money in my opinion. And of course, they won't let you send them back (probably because they know how bad they taste and don't want them all returned). I just poured them all down the drain. I don't CARE if they are supposed to be better for you, give me the regular old "bad" stuff ANY DAY! If I could give LESS THAN a ONE STAR, I would!

If you are health conscious and would benefit from a good energy boost you get from regular energy drinks look no further! Runa is the best most natural and effective! Look up on google benefits of runa energy and you’ll see that it’s not even related to coffee! Caffeine that doesn’t stain and has Polyphenols which help focus while high energy :) I’ve tried all the flavors and love mango the most but if you want to sugar free with no fake sweetness (just brewed tea) get the blood orange it’s not lab delicious it’s more like unsweetened iced tea! It works and it’s good for you :)

I am really sad about the change to the mango flavor. I love Runa energy and drink one mango drink every day in place of coffee. The energy is great, the claim of no crash is 100% true. But the new flavor that came along with this new packaging is really gross. Which is sad because this was by far my favorite energy drink until now.

So glad I can get a case of this stuff! It’s the only drink that gives me energy!
