If You Give a Pig a Pancake Hardcover – Picture Book, 11 April 1998

My child loved this book! It is perfect for children aged 1-2 years and great fun. Part of a great series of books!

I purchased this book and doll for my daughter, we loved it so much that we later purchased the books 'If you give a mouse a cookie' and 'If you give a moose a muffin' all three books are of excellent quality, we have had these books for over a year and my daughter still loves them. Best for kids ages 3 -7 years.

This book has a theme about a pig and what the pig wants which reminded me of the song "There's a hole in my bucket, dear Liza, dear Liza". It's fun but a bit american - with the maple syrup. I didn't think my grandchildren would know what maple syrup is so I bought them some to put on their pancakes and ice cream. Could help with early recognition of words if followed by a grown up finger.
