I have been looking at teething necklaces on etsy for $20-$30, but I always order from Amazon and decided to just get these instead. I wish I would have just spent the extra money on Etsy and got the necklace I wanted! I love wearing pearls, and after I read a review that this necklace looks like real pearls, I figured it would work. After receiving the necklace and putting it on, I was sooo disappointed by how cheap it looks :( Secondly, the necklace is silicone, but NOT the soft finish silicone, and literally EVERY type of hair and fuzz sticks to it. I have long hair and the necklace pulls my hair. Overall, I was very disappointed in this necklace, especially after having such high hopes from all of the great reviews.

Talk about 'OUCH!' This teething necklace catches the small hairs on the back of my neck every single time I wear it. It also likes to wrap my hairs around it so it is a struggle to clean it before the little guy eats my hairs that have been tangled on it. The ironic thing is I wear my hair up in a pony-tail 3/4 of the time and I STILL get hairs caught. So, all in all I stopped wearing it... It's cute, the little guy 'kinda' likes it. (We have others that he prefers more.) It does the job. It's just not our favorite.

I had visions of long beads and my daughter holding them and not trying to chew them. Reality is that she is 6 months old and puts EVERYTHING in her mouth. This necklace (along with a shorter baby-safe strand) worked out PERFECTLY for the photos we had taken. It was also peace of mind since she put them in her mouth and really went to town chewing. This necklace is also really durable. My son (age 3) pulled the beads apart and it didn't break so I was impressed and it made me more confident that if my daughter chews on these that it won't break, etc.

The thing I didn't like is that the beads go all the way to the clasps. Looks nice but pulls your hair, even when it was pulled up. (Silicone problems) I ended up removing a bunch of the beads from behind the neck and then putting the clasp back on. Less pulling and my LO loves chew on it.

Teething necklaces are my go-to baby shower gift. I had one with my daughter and loved it. Every one I've given has received a heartfelt thank you in return. I think it gives a new mom something to help her feel more put together, while still being baby-friendly. You don't want baby chewing on your good jewelry for many reasons! This is a great alternative!

Some said they didn't like how the beads don't look like real pearls... Um, they're not real pearls haha. Of course they won't look real.For silicone beads, they look stupidly awesome.I wear this EVERY DAY.I think the little shimmer in the beads is beautiful. And not ridiculous like glitter for 12 year olds.So glad I got this! My son LOVES it!

My daughter LOVES my necklace! She loves to take it off of me and ware it herself while she chews on it. I was concerned that it wouldn't look like pearls when I ordered it, but took the chance and was so EXCITED that they look like pearls and not just white beads. Looking forward to ordering more and hopefully seeing more designs soon!

For the most part I love this thing. It keeps my teething baby happy and it looks cute with my outfits (plus he can't break it which is a HUGE plus. The only downside is that it catches and will rip out a strand or two of hair when you wear it. I make sure my hair is up now when I put it on. But the baby loves it. I have even just put it on his car seat handle so he can chew on it in the store etc.
