I bought this extra freezer because I live in a mobile home and I get fresh dog food delivered and I need the extra freezer space.ProsI have only used it briefly because I don't have anything stored in it yet, but overall it gets very cold very quickly, seems to be built well, is very quiet, and great value for the money.ConsI really wish they made the 3 cubic feet option in stainless steel instead of silver because the silver finish that I got is very cheap.The temperature control is confusing. It's unclear if you turn it to the left or to the right to make it colder.Overall I'm giving this four stars for overall looks but five stars for overall function so I'm settling with five stars.

Nice little freezer, does the job.

Very happy with it. I buy Ollie and Farmers dog food and needed a small freezer for the food. It is sitting in my dinning room, which is where my baby grand piano is rather than a dinning room set. It holds all the dog food I receive.

There is a reason this compact freezer is several pounds lighter than most and less expensive too. It's the insulation. This one is light and costs less because it must be less well insulated than the competition. Because it runs ALL THE TIME. Literally. All. The. Time. And it's obvious how often it turns on because it makes a very audible BLONK when it clicks itself off. And you will be absolutely amazed how frequently you hear that sound throughout the day and night.That being said, it's attractive and works well. It didn't take long to cool to an adequate freezing temp right out of the box and my frozen items remained frozen from the moment I put them in it.The closed door seems to have a good seal to it and I don't get into it very often. So these aren't the reasons it runs constantly.I have the 3.0 cu ft version and it is quite large. So measure your space carefully before ordering it. I got the stainless steel version and that affects only the door. The rest of the unit is black, exactly like my full sized refrigerator and stove.And that "blonk" noise it makes (mentioned above) - do keep that in mind if it's located anywhere near your bed. It's quite possibly loud enough to wake you up (about every 15 minutes) until you get used to it. I hear it clearly from the upstairs bedroom with it positioned downstairs in the kitchen. But it's not loud enough at that distance to actually wake me up from sleep.
