Great product, charge it with electric a couple times first!
Well like most customers on Amazon, I was nieve enough to think that this thing came charged. Well with a little charge. I believe I charged my phone 2 times and my earbuds once. Then I thought it charged with the sunlight. Haha yes it does. But very slowly. The solar part is for when you actually loose electric. It will recharge with sunlight. Just much slower that the electric from the wall.Battery life is AMAZING!Charges super FAST with my fast charging cord. ( Maybe even faster than when I plug it in the wall)Bought this after my daughter had one when we were on vacation to Florida last month.Best purchase for the price.

Functionality
Why did you pick this product vs others?:These always come in handy. I use mine at home. So I can have a power station in the middle of the room next to my couch. I have 3 so I can be charging 1 or 2 while I use the 3rd. They last for hours even with 2 things plugged into it.

Great in an emergency
Living in Florida, you know to charge everything as a storm approaches.I had almost 3 charges on my cell phone from a full charge. Then the solar charge is slow. Not great for an instant gratification society. The flashlight is bright. My only issue is my model does not have a USB-C charge port but the A. If you lose the charger, you only have the solar charge option.I bought 3 more for family.

Good little back up battery!
Good little battery to charge the phones when the power is out, for what I have seen solar part works but has to be in direct sunlight. when not in use charge it once and month and your go to go.

Possibly My Worst Amazno Purchase Ever
After two weeks I thought it might be a tie with the worthless anti-fog shower mirror I bought a few years, ago but down the home stretch, this virtually useless solar charging battery won out.So after opening the box, I charged it fully using the usb the first time. I then used it to charge my iPhone. It seemed to increment the phone charge 1% per minute. That seemed pretty fast. But it got worse. And next I was unsuccessful in getting it to absorb much of a solar charge. After a work week in a sunny window produced less than a one-fourth recharge, I left it out in the sun for about eight hours and it gained virtually nothing. It was enough only to provide about a 40% bump for my Apple Watch.I then fully charged it again by usb and did a test, charging my iPhone and iPad. It incremented the iPhone by about 1% every 2-3 minutes, worse thanpreviously. A 1% bump on the iPad took about five minutes. It’s a bit of a joke that the unit has two usb outlets, implying you can charge two devices at once. It really can’t handle one very well. The user manual is virtually worthless. It is horribly written, contradictory, and the email support line is virtually useless. I did get a response, but it required a follow up and they did not respond to my second request. It is extremely deceptive to advertise these devices as solar chargers. And then when you get them, they tell you that solar charging should not be your primary method of charging. If that is the case, then why are the words “Solar Charger” the first words in the title of the product on the Amazon page. One star only because I cannot give zero.

Odd battery life behavior
I don't often review products, but I felt compelled to comment on this battery.I have used a lot of portable batteries. I own no less than five different ones. I was intrigued by this one because of its solar charging ability. That said, this is my LEAST impressive battery.Let's start with the solar. Yes, it does seem to work. No, it isn't great at all. To be fair the manual states that the solar is for "emergency use only" and should not be used as a means of charging. Well, that is definitely true. You should never epxect to get hardly any charge out of the solar capability. That's not what makes it a poor battery. It is poor because it has extremely odd charging behavior. There are 4 indicator lights for charge. The first two seem to last forever. Then the last two are stable for about 5 minutes of charging a cell phone. Also, when it charges it takes about an hour to get to 3 lights. Then it take seven more hours to fill the last one. It says it has a capacity of 20,000 mah, but that simply cannot be true. One full charge of this battery can barely charge my phone all the way once. I have another 20,000 mah battery, and it can easily charge my phone 3 times all the way. Maybe mine was defective, but I'm not impressed witth the capacity at all.Of note, the manual says to "charge the phone for 10 hours the first 3 times to unlock full capacity" No idea why it needs this. I DID do this, but the resulting capacity is still terrible.Unfortunately, I do not recommend it.Solar is a useless gimmickCapacity is terribleCharging rate and display is odd and makes no sense.Overall, there are much better options out there.

Many uses
When the hurricane went through our area (tragic damage) the power was out for over a week. The only way to charge a cell phone was to sit in the running car and use the car for power. With 3 cell phones in one house taking turns was inconvenient, to say the least. And the nearest functioning gas station was around 20 miles away. Not a useful option to have a working cell phone but the car out of gas. So, these were the gifts I bought our family to use. My son can also use it when camping or hiking.

Waste of money
This was a waste of money. I regret it 100%. I had bought it because it’s handy when you go camping, so I thought. I was only able to use it once to charge my phone battery. It only charge halfway. Now it doesn’t work to charge my cell phone. The only thing that works on it is the light.I actually bought two. Both do not work. I bought them at two different times. One when I went traveling and gave it to a relative but then it didn’t work to charge cell.I hope this review helps.
