Needed a blow torch
It wouldn't light using a kitchen lighter or on the stove. I ended up using a creme brûlée torch to light it but once done which took a few minutes then it would light. Not as easy as I thought.

Very ashey and not great to be honest. I've been quite disappointed with these. Only use them as spare coals now if i've run out of my regular ones.
