Delicious, Nutritious New Gel Dessert!!!
It's yummy and VEGAN and GLUTEN FREE. I just got my first order yesterday and eagerly mixed up a batch. Here are my thoughts. The jello cools to a very firm gel consistency. It is pleasant and good and not what people are used to in a gel dessert because of the extreme firmness. It makes two cups so that is not that much, so you may want to add fruit to extend it. I wonder if I added a bit more water if it would be a little softer gel. Also, if I add more water it would make more of the jello, so, I am going to try adding another cup of water next time. It is not much more work than regular jello. First, you have to boil and stir for 2 minutes while the powder dissolves, then set the timer for 3 minutes and take the pan off the heat so you can next add the citric acid for tartness. Finally, you put it in the fridge and wait. It is very easy. And the end result is so good for you and tastes good. The prebiotic fiber did make me feel quite full, in a good way. You won't have any trouble feeding this to your family. Kids as well as adults will love it.

Sugar is bad. Carageenan is under suspicion
I think these are yummy, tried almost every flavor. Grateful for a vegan jell-o (except possibly red dye, but I haven't eliminated that yet). Some flavors solidify more than others. For example, the grape and peach were much stiffer than the strawberry. On the other hand, the health-oriented labeling is morally bankrupt. It's a bunch of sugar with carageenan, probiotics, and pulverised fiber. Sugar is bad. Carageenan is under suspicion. Probiotics are shown not to benefit individuals unless they have clear digestive problems. Supplemented fiber has no proven benefits because it has lost its structural integrity. The leaflet included in the box makes unsubstantiated health claims from research that are likely not applicable to this product.I still love this as a personal treat, but I think it is disgusting and should be illegal to brand it as "functional health foods".

Nice try
Too watery, even after I took out half the water. The search for the perfect chemical-/animal-free Jell-O replacement continues.

Pretty yummy
These are pretty good considering they are vegan. The grape flavor tastes great when pineapple chunks are added. The strawberry flavor is great when a layer of strawberry preserves mixed with vegan whipped cream is added to the top. The only downside is that if you eat too much you might need to stay near a restroom for a while! Lol. Also the seller left a hand-written, personalized thank you note. How sweet are they!

A great replacement for Jell-o dessert
I was a huge fan of Jell-o as a kid, but have been vegetarian for 8 years now, so no mo Jell-o. When I came across this product, I was skeptical but excited. With Amazon's "Customer's who bought this item also bought" feature, I also found Unflavored Vegan Jel by Natural Desserts. I've since made both jelly deserts, and am happy with the results of each! Some finer review details for this product:Clarity: A+. There's no murkiness to the color, it looks very clear.Firmness: A-. Definitely a nice solid, but some droop when the desert dish is tilted. The "Unflavored Vegan Jel by Natural Desserts" was firmer, and closer to what I remember of Jell-o. Don't let this discourage you too much, it's plenty enjoyable. I bet a little reduction in the volume of water used would help as well.Flavor: A. I've tried the lime and orange so far. They're exactly as you'd expect from an equivalent Jell-o flavor.Ease of making: A+. The directions are in the product description. They're painfully easy to follow and you're done in less than 10min.I can't say much about the probiotic aspect, as I don't really have digestive issues. I'll leave that for another reviewer.

Taste just like regular jello
The product tastes delicious and will make a nice treat. My only issue is the food coloring. I realize is less than one percent but there are alternatives. My family avoids artifical food coloring so this will only be a one in a while dessert. The jello tastes just like I remember it tasting as a kid. The texture is spot on too.

To bad. So sad. It may be 1% or less but its still in the ingrediants: yellow#6, yellow#5, red #40, and blue#1.
