Have not had it for to long. But when I first installed it I did not think it would stay in over bumps and stuff so I just put a tie wrap to hold it firm. Works perfect.

Works well for a 2016 Ford Expedition. It does block the vent, but you can see that it the pictures. Price seems high but my phone is stable, high enough to see and doesn't block the windshield.

Fitment not well put together. Will be returning.

I'm pleased! This car phone holder fits nicely in my 2011 Ford Expedition's round vents. The pieces that insert in the vent are in there on the top and bottom of the vent. I can still move the directional elements with the phone holder inserted. The holder will block most of the flow, but not all of it, and there's plenty of room for air to come through and go around the holder. Some reviews express concern about hot air hitting their phones, but they're forgetting that the upper vents are generally used for cold air only. Hot air comes through feet vents. Having air conditioning hot the back of my phone can only be an improvement since it likes to overheat when using GPS. I'm actually hoping this might improve things a bit, although I suspect the plastic back on the holder will block most air differential anyway. I had to insert my phone in a somewhat backwards position to get it far enough to the right of my steering wheel for me to see it well. The charging port is on the left instead of the right this way, but it works. I don't anticipate any problems. This also allows my wallet style phone case to fit. It actually works equally well if I lay the open side of the case back along the top since there's just enough room for it to lay flat or I can fold the car behind the phone like I do when using the phone normally and it still manages to fit. My only improvement would be to have the attachment on the exact center of the phone since that would position my phone better for me to see, but I can certainly live with it as is.
