This rug is so vibrant in person. It worked perfectly in my children’s room. It adds color without being too loud. Being able to wash it easily was a big selling point to me.

This rug looks so cute in our bedroom, and for $100 it was absolutely worth it! I love that it’s washable — I’ve run it through the machine once, but since it’s an 8x10, spot cleaning is probably easier for regular upkeep. I do wish the color was a little more vibrant, though that’s just a personal preference. We also got the 2x3 version for our bathroom so everything flows nicely through the master. The quality feels great and definitely worth every bit of the price!

I see a lot of these reviews are upset about color, and many list beige and grey, others are green and yellow. I see all of the noted colors, depending on light source. Lights off; with curtains up, natural light in is grey and beige all day. However, warm overhead light and I see the yellow and greens, so I think all colors are distributed throughout, its just what lighting is used; which will make the difference. The rug itself is thin, I expected and hoped for that; knowing its a washable rug, it cuts the drying time significantly from my old rug that I had to steam clean, which rendered my son's room unusable until dry. This rug is light, easy to stick in washer, and dries fairly quickly for the size of it. The pattern is bold, but not too busy so it worked well in my 2 year olds' room, as another reason for the purchase was I didn't want a "theme" but more-so a color palette to incorporate many items with, which makes this rug as versatile as ever, depending on your color favors. He likes to park his cars in the "spaces'' which also adds to usability in my opinion. It doubles as his sorter- at least in my particular case. This rug is soft, not fuzzy. Very minimal sheds, I vacuum with my Shark ™ wand vacuum, as it doesn't need more power than that. There are no grooves for sand and objects to get stuck or snagged in, so no additional power than my vacuum is needed. Also with monthly washing, debris is slim, other than the occasional crushed snack cracker, or drop of milk, which wipes up extremely well. This pattern wouldn't be used traditionally in a little boy's room, more so an office or living room setting, but the calmness to the print works beautifully for us. The gripped backing was a must for me, as little boys' love to run, I didn't want him slipping while running into his room. I washed immediately after purchasing but I do remember there was absolutely no chemical smell to the rug on initial roll out. Also, I attached the pictures from the original time of purchase and the creases were minimal, that is before wash, after they were gone. I attached the instructions if you don't wash after buy, the guidelines are included on how to minimize packaging creases. This rug has outperformed for our 2-year-old, only thing I would add, is if you do plan to purchase for a child, consider the play time they spend on the floor and get a padded underlayment. Would buy again!
