Found in Dealership Truck Coolant Hose Tools
After purchasing a coolant hose tool for my truck, I analyzed the build style and components only to find out that the tool used this type of thread sealer. I ended up building two more of the exact components found on the tool and applying my own sealer to the threads to copy and paste the same outcome. Sold my DIY tool for the initial cost of building two sets, returned the original for money back, and now I have my own tool on the house. Works for coolant.

Perfect Seal Every Time! 🛠️
I recently got my hands on the Rectorseal 23710 T Plus Pipe Thread Sealant, and I’ve got to say, it’s a game-changer for my DIY projects! Compared to other sealants I’ve used, this one is in a league of its own. 💪First off, it’s super easy to apply. The consistency is just right—not too thick, not too runny. It spreads smoothly on the threads and provides a perfect seal every time. I’ve used other products that were either a mess to work with or didn’t hold up under pressure. But with Rectorseal, I’ve had zero leaks, even with high-pressure water lines. 🚿What really sets it apart is its versatility. Whether you’re working with PVC, metal, or even CPVC pipes, this sealant gets the job done. I’ve tried a few other brands before, but none of them offered the same level of performance across different materials. Plus, it’s resistant to all sorts of chemicals, which is a big plus for those of us dealing with various fluids in our projects. 🔧Also, it doesn’t harden or crack over time, which means I can trust my connections to stay secure for the long haul. For anyone who’s serious about plumbing or any kind of pipework, Rectorseal 23710 is a must-have in your toolkit. Highly recommend! 🌟

A bunch of goop, but works wonders...
Despite how much I hate applying this stuff, this is the only stuff that works pretty much every time I put it on a connection unless I forgot to put some in the backside of a thread. This time around, I was trying to seal some couplings to my water heater by using PFTE tape only, but only to have to take it apart again once the connections started leaking.Instead of using PFTE tape, I just slapped a liberal amount of this goop on the threaded connections and then tighten the connections back up. No leaks! Some people say the connections are stronger when both are being used, but I never really had issues with just using this compound by itself. Since this sealant does not dry up and stays pretty much goopy at all times, it does get pretty much everywhere (on the connections, on your hands, on your shirt, etc), especially if you applied a liberal amount on the connections. It has a consistency that is similar to petroleum jelly, so it's not something that can just be washed off with water (although it does rinse out slightly easier than petroleum jelly would). If you are going to be working with this, make sure you are wearing clothing you do not care too much for.One good side to this goopiness is that it serves to lubricate the connections so that if you happen to want to undo the connections in the future it does not get frozen or stuck. I think this is a good buy considering that it works every time and that it is also cheaper on Amazon compared to what I can get in the local hardware shop.

Perfect product leaks are gone!
This product is fantastic! If you wanna stop your leaks, especially with garden hose attachments just spread some of the stuff on the male ends of the fittings and voilà your leak is gone.

Good pipe dope.
Good pipe sealer works as it should. Can add it to pipe and basically use the pipe right away.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Easy win over Teflon tape-

Great stuff.
My go-to pipe dope. Works best in conjunction with PTFE tape. Use both for good measure.
