VERO MONTE Modal & Cotton Opaque Patterned Tights for Women - Knitted Tights

After MANY failed purchases of other products, I decided to take a chance on these based on the great reviews. I had gained a few pounds since last winter (I'm 5'7 and now 145) and my old tights were too uncomfortable to wear. I was looking for something footed but with the feel of a legging. All the tights I tried were super constricting and felt more like thick panty hose. These arrived and were PERFECT. Here's what made me write a review though... I realized that in my haste in choosing colors, I purchased the wine and navy combo, thinking it was wine and black! I was so disappointed because I went to correct my mistake and found that the same tights in black weren't available in my size at that time. That's when I noticed that I had an e-mail from Elizabeth with Vero Monte customer service asking if I was satisfied with the products I received. I said that I was, but inquired as to when/if black would be available. To my surprise, she offered to send me a FREE PAIR of black tights in a solid pattern. It was MY mistake... no fault of theirs whatsoever and without even asking, I'm receiving exactly what I needed AND I have the beautiful wine and navy pairs as well. Elizabeth took personal responsibility for ensuring my satisfaction as a customer, including follow-up e-mails letting me know the status of my shipment. Well, the black arrived this week and they are excellent! It's a shame that all companies don't put the care and quality into their products and service like this. I was pleasantly surprised by the fit and comfort of these tights. I usually don't wear tights because they tend to be uncomfortable - they sag around the ankles and knees and don't stay put at the waist. Not so with these Vero Monte tights. They are soft and stretchy and stay put throughout the day. Even after laundering, they still maintain their shape. They are also nice and warm for the cold weather. I highly recommend them.

These are soft, a fine yet winter weight knit, wash well and very comfortable. I will be ordering other colours.

These are so warm, even compared to other winter tights from Vero Monte! They're really comfortable too, and the sizing is great - a lot of tights only run in one size, which is often too small for me, but the L-XL size in these is perfect for me. I definitely recommend them.

Loved the fit, feel, and look of these. Hope they wash up well. For now I give them 5 stars.
