Works Flawlessly – Great Value!
I’m not sure what some people are complaining about, but the Firefield Charge Red Laser and Light Combo has been perfect for me! The laser is bright, the light is strong, and everything functions exactly as expected. Easy to mount, holds zero well, and feels solid. Maybe some issues are just user error, but I’m completely happy with my purchase. Great quality for the price—highly recommend!

Useful Compact Light, But Flawed
This light/laser is great for its overall size and utility, and it streamlined my overall rig. However, it is not as bright as one would think, though I have found it to be sufficient for my purposes. The laser is a standard red laser, and was easy to zero and has thus far not strayed after several months, which I attribute to the one-piece design of the overall unit. The biggest flaw was that the included pressure pad never worked from the get go. Kind of a bummer as I was looking forward to trying it out for a while. As is, the unit still has its built-in push button activation, separate for light and laser, and in use I have no issues with those buttons. Just a bit of a let down, I have several Firefield products and thus was the first one with such a defective from out of the package. Otherwise, the unit works and continues to serve me well to this day.

Wonderful!!! 10/10
Not only is this laser and flashlight combo affordable it is probably one of the nicest pieces of equipment I’ve owned for arrival. It includes a battery and a pressure switch. And as long as you don’t cut through the pressure switch like I did I found it it does work fine. As well as the customer service for field fire are some of the most professional and helpful people that I’ve dealt with. After cutting through the pressure switch I have actually been sent a new one for free which I do appreciate in the field fire employees were helpful and very polite to me over the phone. I would honestly buy this item again any day of the week and will most likely use it for all of my rifles that I own and will own in the future.Bright flashlight and laser.

Must Read
I dont normally write reviews but there are several things about this Laser/Light combo that i thought were intuitive and also unproductive. First, its a very inexpensive laser/light combo. I bought it solely for the price, hoping it would be interesting, worth my time and space on my rifle. Right off the bat i could tell it was a fair quality item for the price. (paid around $35, shipped in 2 days.) The mount locks tight and efficient. Id never have to worry about it coming lose. I absolutley love single setting lights. No strobe no none sense, just off and on. My biggest problems with this entry level light combo is the pressure pad. The input jack sticks straight out, and has little retention to keep it in. After 5 minutes of shooting or moving, youll snag your cable, activating your light and laser when you didnt want to. I WOULD PAY MORE FOR A 90° INPUT CABLE. My solution was to throw out the pressure pad, mount the light combo on top of my rails far forward in front of my AFG. My hand natural falls too it when i bring up my rifle. (Also still have my primary light mounted, using light/laser combo as backup.) Besides the pressure pad input stupidity, and what is basically a nonexistent battery life you also have a drifting zero on the laser. Adjustments for the laser are very sensitive but suprisingly not positive or precise. (have not fully tested yet) I do enjoy it as a fun temporary accessory. Side note: money doesnt buy quality, but spending under $100 on a light/laser combo is futile. Just save up for a DBALL.

Battery seems to last a while.
I've had it for a few months now on the same battery, and it's been working fine as well as bright, even providing a visible green laser even in bright conditions. It's low profile and peeks put past any front sight you have equipped to provide ample light or laser usage. The pressure pad could have been better, or have an easily replaceable cord, but thus far has performed well. I'd recommend to those seeking entry-level laser-light combos.

Poor quality, detailed review
Detailed review, this light/laser combo is of very poor quality and I will be returning this item. I theorize it’s rated 2-5 stars by buyers without a perspective for which a good quality product is comprised. First problem, the CR2 battery it came with was completely dead, $5 for a new one. Second issue, the pressure switch was unusable out of the package. The female connector pin was bent and the sleeve detector tab was soldered so far away it failed to make contact with the male connector sleeve, rendering the pressure switch useless. Had the female connection been appropriately assembled, it would still be impractical as the male connector sleeve bottoms out about 3mm shy of fully seating the jack against the unit. The third complaint continues with the pressure pad. The pad’s so thinly veiled in plastic that it was already warped. Deformation was enough that test pressing the on/off contacts was troublesome. What’s the point if I have to spend time fumbling with the pressure switch, especially in a high stress situation? I predict if the switch had ever worked that near immediate failure was imminent. Of course that’s if it stayed mounted with the provided cheap adhesive hook and loop securing method. Fourth problem, the LED light is vastly overrated when compared to the output of a 50 lumen pen light. In addition, the weakly illuminated field is highly constricted at 10 yds, roughly 18” diameter. Practical for CQB??? The fifth issue, the laser output appears to be highly overrated as well. It’s barely visible at 15 yds with two brand spanking new different name brand manufacturer batteries. More importantly, the windage and elevation screws are tapped so loosely that maintaining zero is a fruitless endeavor. Re-zeroing was necessary after firing only 6 rds from my rifle. Sixth problem, the finish of the unit’s housing is deplorable. Painting or adonizing (whichever the manufacturer claims), is so thin it might as well been have been forgotten. The corners were bare aluminum and multiple scratches were apparent after handling just 15 minutes. Seventh complaint, the picatinny mount connection to the unit housing is loose and secured with only one very light gauge aluminum screw. Compounding the mount issue, there’s only one screw to secure to the picatinny rail. A noticeable wobble is apparent unless the screw’s torqued to near stripping (even with Locktite). I predict other trouble will arise as I’ve only had this product three days and couldn’t in good conscious wait for them to appear to post this review. My advice, do the right thing and buy a quality product in the first place, price point alone won’t turn a sow’s ear into a silk purse.
