Don't refrigerate it for one thing. If you don't stir the jar occasionally, you can get stiff butter. You can either scoop it out with a spoon and microwave for a few seconds on a plate, or set the jar in warm water until you can stir it.

I no longer gsve the jar. If they also make peanut butter at the same facility, then I would say yes there could be trace elements.
