Two Awesome albums for the price of one
If your'e here you probably know who the Circle Jerks are, if you don't, well this a perfect place to start! This cd has their first two albums packed into 1. The albums "Group Sex" and "Wild In the Streets" are on here. The albums aren't long so you don't have to worry about using too much of your time listening to this. Group Sex is about 15 minutes long and Wild in The Streets is a typical half hour. Their is an obvious at which album is better though, Group Sex comes out on top on this one. Mainly because it more catchier tracks that are more well known to the average fan. Songs like "Operation" and "Live Fast, Die Young" have more better beats than the songs on Wild in the Streets. Not saying Wild in the Streets is bad but Group Sex is better by a long shot. But don't dismiss this album, is just as good as Group Sex, with songs like the title track "Wild in the Streets" and "Trapped" this album is definitely a keeper. So you better check this one out.If you want to get into the Circle Jerks, or you want to get into punk in general, check these albums out. These albums have defined punk by giving it catchy riffs and lyrics that any fan would love and enjoy.

Rating the product itself here, not the sender or the music...
I received this CD and it only had the "Group Sex" album even though the CD and cover said it was supposed to have both albums listed above. I contacted the record label and they explained that there had been a run of these CDs printed after they had lost the license to distribute "Wild In The Streets", so before they were able to change the artwork to reflect the single album being pressed, several copies of the double-album artwork/track-listing version had slipped out. The seller did not know about this and when I forwarded them the e-mail sent from Frontier Records, I was given a refund. No loss, no foul, just ask the seller to verify there are more than 20 tracks ON THE CD ITSELF before buying it.

Just buy both albums and save yourself the money
Really disappointed with this purchase. Group Sex is the only album on this CD, despite the cover and the disc itself claiming it has both. Never had an experience like this in 30 years of buying music.

The Way Punk Should Be!
I used to listen to "Group Sex" a lot when I was in high school and college (on cassette). Getting the double CD makes it even better.I grew up in Orange County listening to original punk like the Vandals, the Angry Samoans, Fear, and of course, the Circle Jerks.Shorter, louder, and faster-the way it used to be!

Missleading Pressing
All the liner notes and disc label both say that both albums are on this printing, but only Group Sex is on the disc. Must have been a misprinted run. Like the album just very disappointed to have half of what I though I was getting. The only thing wild in the streets is your one anger about this misprint..

Classics
The soundtrack of my youth. Every bit as important as the Ramones, DKs, Black Flag, Germs, Angry Samoans, X , etc. Old school proper from the desperate times those were.

a RARE classic
THIS version of Group Sex also comes with the second Jerks album Wild In The Streets. As I recall, many independent punk labels began to pair off albums from their artists in the 90's, making them great values for the ritually-broke obsessed fans (like myself) to pick up cheaply, and love, and loan out, which IS how most of us lost our originals, anyway. We never learn, do we? Well, as is to be expected, this was a great find, and a great buy. Since these versions are out-of-print, these too have become collector-sought. Wild and Group Sex are both great records, which many of us actually OLD enough to recall pre-grunge punk revivalism fondly remember. I was fortunate enough to have lived in a place like San Francisco as a kid, so I had the grand luck to have seen the Jerks when they were still at their peak. And yes, they're still touring, still great, but we're older, not so fit, and most of us are laughing at what the kids call "dancing," nowadays. If it weren't for "American Hardcore" and all the little trendoid teenagers glomming onto the neopop-punkmo scenes, these records wouldn't be selling at all. This edition is a real treat and a rare find. It's NOT leaving my collection, so thanks dude or dudette that needed money which allowed me to snatch this sweet deal up like a leper missing his dingle and berries. This is fantastic. If you can find it, grab it.
