Fun game! Quick rounds makes it easy to pull out
Big fan of this game, great for small parties or get togethers. My whole family loves this game, even my 7 year old nephew who begs to play every time we get together. Easy to play because each round is quite short. Well made cards, works seamlessly with the phone app. Great gift for secret santa or white elephant

The Best Social Deduction Game Ever Invented
Let's just put it this way. When my family first received ONUW on Christmas morning 2019, we opened the box and read the instructions around 4pm, then stayed up until 2 in the morning playing it. Throughout the following week, we played for probably 6 hours every single night. We've since had 4 years of fun and unforgettable memories. We cannot get enough of it. I simply think it is the best game ever invented--the ultimate strategy, deduction, lying, manipulation, and hilarious extravaganza. I absolutely love the app--so that everyone can play and no one has to be a narrator. I truly admire the inclusion aspect--that everyone can have a unique role and task to play (no one has to be a plain, old villager). And I think the fact that it is just one night is frankly genius. It makes it so much faster to play rounds (as opposed to other mafia-style games) and puts less pressure on being a werewolf. I have friends who won't play other social deduction and bluffing games because it stresses them too greatly, but they will play ONUW because the rounds are so short and, of course, there's always the possibility that their card can be swapped! I think it's just brilliant. Every round is different. Every round calls for a new strategy. We can play hundreds of times because there are millions of possibilities for how the game can go! We've bought all the expansion packs, and we truly enjoy trying all the different combinations we can. I play a lot of games, but this one is by far my favorite. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

My go-to party game!
This game is a blast! It is one of my alltime favorite games for a gettogether. It's great because: *It's basically all ages. We play with about ages 8-93. *Rounds are quick (5 mins) so it's easy for people to pop in and out of the game throughout the night as they socialize or eat/make food or whatever. There is no long time commitment to playing. *It's so much fun. Doesn't matter if you know the group well or you don't - it adds elements of challenge to the game. So playing with coworkers or strangers or family - the game is always different. *The app walks you through each round so people don't need to really understand all the rules before starting. They just need to be able to follow directions. You can startup a game or add new players with only a few minute's explanation. *It's in a small box. It's easy to take with you. *It's expandable with the other games so you can have variety and add players. We also have Vampire, but we always find ourselves coming back to the original Werewolf version unless we need to add in players and need the expansion. Suggestion: Add some extra white noise like rain sounds or something during the eyes-closed portion and encourage people to not sit perfectly still so that no one gives away clues by hearing movement from others during their turn. This is a GREAT gift or party favor you can leave with a host. Toss it in your bag when you travel. I recommend it for anyone about 12 to 60 as a gift. (And younger and older people can join in the games too. But I probably wouldn't give it to an 8yr old as their gift unless I know they played before.)

| Epic Game Night with App and Bluetooth Speaker!
Man, One Night Ultimate Werewolf is hands-down the most fun I’ve had at game night! This fast-paced social deduction game for 3-10 players is pure chaos and laughs. Everyone gets a secret role—like a sneaky Werewolf, crafty Troublemaker, or helpful Seer—and you’ve got one night and morning to figure out who’s the werewolf before the village votes. Each 10-minute round is wild, with no elimination, so everyone’s in on the bluffing and scheming every time. The free One Night app is a total game-changer—Eric Summerer’s narration is so immersive, guiding each role’s actions perfectly. I hooked my phone to a Bluetooth speaker, cranked the creepy background music, and it felt like we were in a legit werewolf village! The app’s timer keeps debates snappy, and no one has to sit out as a narrator, so we all get to play. The cards are high-quality, and it’s easy to learn, making it perfect for newbies or party pros. Pair it with a loud speaker and you’ve got an unforgettable night—highly recommend!

That sounds like something a werewolf would say!
Our friends introduced this game at game night and we rushed to order a copy of our own. It's like the game mafia but with fun characters. The whole family can play and the app makes it easy peasy! We love it and play it often.

Lots of fun, can get repetitive, and instructions need work
First let me say this was very fun for our family of five. After we figured it out, lots of laughs were had, lots of friendly accusations were made, and I learned who in my family I can trust. The quality of the game was what I'd expect for a $25 purchase, so I guess I missed the counterfeit bus everyone else got on. I'd add that the first round was not fun. The instructions basically state that once the night is over, you start talking to figure out who the werewolf is. This is not clear enough. After we all opened our eyes the first time, we all sat around staring at each other wondering what to say. We re-read the instructions to see if we missed something. Some more helpful tips in the instructions would've gone a long way. With that said, I'd like to provide the following tips to have more fun: - During the night phase, listen very closely to what's going on. What you hear happening during at night will give you tips on which person is playing each role. For example, did you hear some shuffling from the player to your left when the troublemakers woke up? Now you have something to talk about during the day. - There is a whodunnit strategy to be figured out here, and the instructions give no help. Think of this like the movie Clue - you have a role to play, as do the other players. But that doesn't mean you have to tell the truth about what you did or didn't do. And if you lie, make sure to have an alibi or you'll get figured out immediately. - The instructions give you a specific set of cards to use to match the number of players you have. This is fine for the first few rounds, but the cards it prescribes are the most basic ones. So after a few rounds of that it can get pretty repetitive. Switch them out for more advanced ones. Particularly the villagers. Having more than one villager takes away the fun. - Never have more than one villager if you can help it. Finally, the phone app is extremely helpful if a little buggy. Highly recommend to download that so no one has to remember how to be the announcer. A typical exchange once everyone wakes up: Player 1: I heard player 2 make noise during the werewolf phase. Player 2: That's impossible, I'm a villager and didn't do anything. Player 3: Well I'm the seer, and I looked at player 4's card and he's the villager. We only have one villager so Player 2 can't be it. Player 4: *silence, looks guilty* Player 5: Player 3 can't be the seer anymore, because I switched his card with player 1's. Player 1: I think player 2 is lying. He's a werewolf. Player 2: I'm a villager, I swear! Player 5: I robbed player 2 and he wasn't the werewolf. Player 3: That's because player 5 is now the werewolf! Turns out player 1 started as the werewolf and player 3 is defending him because he is the minion.
