I love this bike
This is my first road bike and I love it. It is a real head turner. All people in my neighborhood do when they see me on this bike is talk about how sweet it looks. I gotta say - it looks much better in person than what they present in their marketing materials.I love how it rides. I had a rough go at the outset. The bike made a weird creaking noise and my front Quick Release Skewer (the thing that fastens the wheel to the frame) was defective. Customer service sent me a new skewer in the mail. I was also able to address the creaking sound by getting my local bike shop to torque all of the nuts and bolts. As a heads up The Sava QR skewer length is apparently nonstandard - findable on amazon, however. The rear brake cable on my bike started to rattle in the top tube after a few weeks (the cables are partially internally routed). Annoying. This is a problem on super high end bikes as well - so don't worry. I was able to fix it myself by wrapping the brake cable in foam piping. Lots of videos on youtube show you how to do it. It does not require a high degree of technical expertise at all.A tech at my bike shop told me that the "chainline isn't the best on this bike". What that practically means for ME (i dont' know tht everyone has this problem) is that when my bike is perfectly tuned up, I still have one gear where I get some minor rubbing between the chain and the front derailleur - not the end of the world. The inner tube stems could be longer - but that's not the end of the world. You can just replace them with longer (80mm) stems after you get a flat.I purchased this bike in December of 2022. I am 5'11 and the 54cm was too big for me. The top tube is LONG. I got a bike fit and moved my seat all the way forward and got an 80mm stem to replace the 100mm stem. The bike feels amazing now.Mild winter over here in new york city - so i've put about 350 miles on the bike. I'm really happy with my purchase. Every bike shop tech I talk to is impressed by the value offered here. You'd be paying at least another $500-$1000 more for a comparable Shimano 105 bike from Trek or Giant or someone else. With that said - the bike industry is dealing with some major oversupply in 2023 - so Sava will have some price competition from major players.

Pictures and description don't do it justice!
I only have positive things to say. One of my most confident 5 out of 5 ratings. First of all, the bike shipped faster than expected, was delivered faster than expected, and had absolutely no damage, scuffs, missing pieces to report. With a large purchase like this, I cannot tell you how much this already takes the anxiety and stress of the situation away.Onto the bike. First of all... IT IS GORGEOUS! I went with the updated Black and Red model, and the pictures just don't do it justice. It is sleek, sexy and totally rad looking. Assembly was cake, and everything preinstalled needed no adjustments on my part. Even being unfamiliar with the Sava brand of cycling, you can be confident with a familiar brand in Shimano (which in my opinion is equally important, if not more, than the frame itself). I went with the 105 groupset to save a bit of money, but even still, with the trickle-down technology from previous Ultegra/DurAce years, I have ZERO complaints with their performance, look and feel. If anything, they are a massive upgrade from my older bike. The wheels are awesome, with nice aero carbon rims. The brake pads will most likely need to be replaced, as they are not carbon specific, but I bought a replacement set for $20 on Amazon, so no big issue there. As for sizing (as this may be the trickiest part about ordering), you may be inclined to use your own judgement and buy a size you have bought in the past, but I encourage you to buy in the range that the brand says to. All bikes are not created equal, and I normally ride a 54cm, but it said to choose the 51cm, and I am glad I did. I am 5'8", and usually fluctuate between 150-175lbs year to year, and this bike fits PERFECT. I have a fairly average torso length and leg length, so there was nothing special to consider, but again, I encourage to follow the suggested size, as these are sized different than your Treks, Specialized, etc.
