母にプレゼントしました。目の不自由な母でも使えるシンプルで使いやすいところが一番気に入りました。本人も大満足。ほとんど毎日使っているそうです。

日本では、馴染みがないかもしれませんが、スロークッカーは、アメリカではどの家庭でも持っている調理器具です。朝、具材を入れておけば、低温調理で６〜８時間くらいで、夕飯までにはシチューなどができていて、お肉も柔らかい。周りが寒いからか、lowだと少し火力が弱すぎなので、いつもhighで調理しています。さらに煮立たせたいときは、タオルをかけて保温性を高めています。鹿肉など硬いお肉でも、ホロホロになります。

I use this to cook beans and it works well for that. Much more efficient than cooking on the stovetop. The arrangement of low high and warm is not thought out very well. Turning the dial all the way to the right sets the cooker to the lowest temperature setting. The highest setting is in the middle. The difference between low and high is indistinguishable.

I have used a similar Crock-Pot for many years and it was time to buy a new one. According to the product title it is supposed to be a 3-quart (2.8 liter) product, and the English product description says "3-quart capacity" (in Japanese 3クォート). The actual usable volume is only 2 quarts, though, so it is too small for my needs. The Crock-Pot itself works very well and is easy to use.
