Quality tattoo care kit.
Great quality product, compared to other products I have tried in the past, the soap works very well for keeping your new tattoo clean, it has no irritation to skin or fresh ink. The ointment works wonders, smells good, lasts a long time. Helps with healing, and color on old tattoos as well. The one downside id say is the small size of products to the cost that you pay . 4.7 stars do to cost. Otherwise recommend

Awesome stuff. Smells SOOO yummy and works really well.
This is awesome stuff! Has a wonderful smell because of the quality ingredients, not from perfumes. Goes on very well. Hydrates and moisturizes your tattoo. Not sticky or greasy at all. I have used this on my older tattoos as well as a brand new one. No irritation, itching, etc. Just soothing to the skin. As I get more tattoos and care for my older ones, I plan to continue using this. Comes in a great little can, too! Very happy.

This stuff is great!
I started getting tattoos a couple years ago, and initially was unsure what to use. First tattoo artist just said use Aquaphor, and that worked alright, but nobody gave any advice on longer term care other than to “stay out of the sun”. I live in a sun-drenched area so that isn’t exactly ideal - or even possible - and I don’t like long sleeves in warm weather. And besides, I don’t know too many people that get a tat and then want to keep it hidden most of the time (there are exceptions, of course). So, I did a lot of reading and searching. The one product that kept coming up and seemed universally respected by dermatologists, artists, and tattoo magazines alike was Mad Rabbit’s tattoo balm. So, I gave it a try and ordered one each of the two scents. I didn’t care for the lavender/frankincense, but the vanilla coconut was perfect. Not feminine (more neutral - this would smell good on anyone), and not strong, so you don’t feel like you’re rubbing perfume or cologne onto yourself. What about moisturizing? I’ve never had dry/patchy skin in the areas that I use this, and I don’t even apply it every day. It does come out of the tin a little thick but even their directions indicate you should warm/melt it a bit between your fingers before applying. If you do this, it goes on easier/smoother, but I’ve also just smeared a bit across where I want it and waned it with my hand a little before massaging it in, and that works, too. My skin likes this stuff and I have had zero allergic reactions to it. So, does it make the tats pop/brighten them? Well, my tats are all < 3 years old, so I can’t give a full review on this point, but I will say that all of my tattoos die pop just a little bit more when using this. The phoenix (red/orange/yellow tones) on my arm looks great, and it’s about a year old, but it is even more vibrant when I apply this. When I put this on my visible tats, people have noticed and commented. My oldest black tat, that doesn’t get much sun, looks bolder as well. So, I’m going to say if I were to bet on it, I would bet confidently that this will do the same but more for my tats as they age, get exposed to sun, etc. I see some people here trying to use this for fresh ink. I would say hold off on that. This is thick and you will have to put strain on freshly inked skin to rub this in, and run the risk of pulling of scabs and peeling skin before your healing is complete. You don’t want to do that and run the risk of damaging/ruining your awesome new piece. There are lots of products for after care on fresh ink, but if you are sold on this company, their Repair Soothing Gel is pretty great. I used it on the last of my 3 tats - the largest one yet - and in 14 days it looked and felt like it was healed to the point it took my others 21-28 days to get to. It also soothes any itching/burning and locked in moisture but still let the skin breathe. Pretty impressive, and I will be using it on future ink for sure. If you aren’t happy with what you’re using and are looking for something else, check it out. You won’t be sorry you did.

Smells amazing, but…
It’s much better if you put it in your pocket and warm it up before use. It is difficult to use if you don’t warm it up first, and it is easier if you warm it up in the tin. It is lightweight but sticky. It moisturizes well, but it has a gritty texture that does not feel good on a brand new tattoo. I love the Mad Rabbit soothing gel and bought this in a bundle with it. The quality is great, but overall I find it to be severely overpriced for what it is— there are products of the exact same quality with the same ingredients for less money.

Perfect product, healing tattoo, happy skin
Stuff smells great. Stays on thick so I can feel I’m being moisturized while healing. Not too much and still plenty. Jar will last for many tattoos. It does have a grainy feeling however I rub my fingers in circles in the can to loosen it up and it rubs right in. My photo is 6 days after the tattoos. Didn’t think to show on day 5 after o took my plastics off however, they looked the same yesterday. I haven’t had any of the peeling I have seen others deal with. Don’t know if there are other similar great products since this is my first time using a tattoo balm but this will be my go to because it works great, smells great, and for the amount I am using and being able to use for future tattoos, price it great. Cheaper options however you pay for what you get… but still didn’t break the bank. Perfect product.

Must have for tattoos
Smells amazing and works even better, on my microwaved eyebrows.

0.7oz should be more clearly listed!
Great product. Too small for the cost. At least be more upfront/transparent that this is a 0.7oz tin unlike the 2.0oz products it was placed next to for just $2 more. I do like the smell and it works very nicely in a dry state.

Makes your tattoos come to life again.
Love this stuff. It’s smells really good, very natural and works really well. Lotion on your tattoo will make them look great, problem is, the lotion will eventually do its job and be absorbed by your skin and your tattoos go back to “normal”. This balm keeps your ink looking great all day. You can feel it when you have it on, but it just feels moisturized, not greasy at all. You get this nice pop without looking shiny. I love it. These aren’t the best pictures, and with most everything, pictures don’t do it justice but trust me, these make your tattoos skin look great. And no, I was NOT gifted this stuff. I paid full price and this is my honest review.
